We have had a wood burning stove for 6 years. Thought about a tote, but I only have to bring in wood from the porch, who needs one, right? Wrong!! If you burn wood you need this. No more splinters on your shirt sleeves. I can stack twice as much in the tote as I can carry in my arms. I carry the tote with one hand. Once you set the tote in the wood rack, it catches all the dirt, wood chips etc... my floor is MUCH cleaner. How did I live without this? A great bargain, compared to others from the fancy outdoor stores.

We bought the Angry Beaver firewood carrier to use as a supportive dog carrier for our aging 90-pound dog while climbing stairs. Our dog has hind leg pathology and weakness, resulting in difficulty climbing the stairs to our second-floor bedroom.The firewood carrier is placed under his trunk, but first we fold each side in about 2 inches to reduce the width of the carrier to better fit the length of the dog’s trunk. Using the handles, we are able to carry/unload about 20% of his weight (maybe 20-25 pounds), which makes his ascent so easy that he seems like a youngster again.The Angry Beaver carrier handles are made from one long, continuous piece of 1-1/2 inch webbing that is sewn onto the long dimension of the canvas (their picture shows this better than my words can communicate). This feature ensures that a handle is not going to tear away under stress while we’re climbing the stairs. The canvas, webbing, and stitching create such a sturdy carrier that I feel very confident about my dog’s safety while we assist his ascent.I recommend this carrier for multi-use.

Where has this been all our lives? Its the easiest thing to use to bring firewood in from the outside. Its sturdy and holds a lot each trip. Its also really easy to fold up and store and shake out.

This is a very well made product, well worth paying a little more than other products. Heavy duty, strong stitching, will carry as much weight in wood as you want. I use it almost everyday and carry filthy old wood but it doesn’t get stained or damaged. Probably last forever.
