Works with Canon R6
Got this to trigger an Atomos Ninja since they can use Sony LANC triggers. Unfortunately this does not trigger an Atomos via the remote port, however I plugged it directly into my Canon R6 and it does trigger the camera and thus the Atomos via HDMI. Couldn’t be happier. It’s a great size. They should list Canon as compatible.

Work with micro USB connections
This is a very easy to setup video recording button. It connects to the camera via Micro USB connectors on the camera. The button is big enough to easily access start/stop video recording. I wish there are USB-C version as well, so it can be used on some of the newer cameras.

Simple Remote Trigger That Works Flawlessly
I have a handle with a built-in remote trigger, but I wanted something that would allow me to trigger from a side handle. I saw this Konova button and decided it would be exactly what I needed. So, I ordered it.What you get is a simple, push button trigger, and two different remote release cables. The push button trigger will attach to a camera or a rig using the hot shoe or cold shoe depending on which it is.It slots in neatly and stays in place thanks to a spring loaded small ball bearing on the underside. It has no fitting that needs to be tightened. The slot in the side of the pushbutton takes the right angled USB-C end of the cable. The other end plugs into the remote socket on the camera. The push button simply works. It starts and stops video instantly and flawlessly. Please note that this button is not for still photography but only for video. It will not trigger focusing. For those of you who are still using Panasonic GH4's like I am, don't worry when you look at the instructions and find that that model is not listed in there. It is listed on the product page but not in the instructions. If you want or need a remote trigger, then this Konova button works well and is one you should definitely consider.

Glutton for this Button
I have a top handle with a record button, which is very convenient when doing video shoots. It gives me a more accessible method to engage in recording rather than having to wrap my hand around the rig like I am taking a photograph. This device lets me place a record button anywhere on my rig where there is a cold shoe. A top handle, side handle, and cage all provide a place to place this button where it is convenient for the rig build you might be using. It works great with my SONY FX-30. The one issue I do have with it is the method by which it secures itself to the cold shoe. It uses a spring-mounted ball bearing to put pressure on the bottom of the cold shoe to hold it in place. This works with some and not so well with others. I have some cold shoes with a detent at the position where it should rest and since there is no flat surface to hold it in place it wriggles a bit. I have one top handle that has a flat cold shoe bottom and a safety release that prevents it from slipping out of the cold shoe which works best. It would be great if they could figure out a more secure method to lock this in place within the cold shoe.
