These light tubes are so much quieter and brighter
I replaced the old fluorescent T12 8 ft tubes in my garage. I have 10 light fixtures each with two bulbs. The old fluorescent light fixtures provided good light but sounded like a welder transformer. The old 60 hz hum of the light ballast was quite noisy. The fluorescent bulbs took time to warm up before getting bright. The new LED lights seem as if they are twice as bright as the fluorescent when turning on. No need to warm up. No more annoying hum. I picked this fluorescent light because it was a good balance of brightness and price. I like that it had a 270° angle on the LEDs. These lights say they are 50 Watts. There are other lights on Amazon that say 75 watts but have the same number of LED chips and look identical. Maybe the only difference is the price. As far as the LED bulb construction it is a thin tube much smaller than the T12. The backside of the LED bulb is made of aluminum with a thin plastic cover on the front. I ordered two 12 packs of this bulb. Of the 24 bulbs I received one bulb had problems. I contacted the company and received a quick response. The company refunded the cost of the bulb promptly. The ballast bypass was simple. It took approximately 10 minutes per fixture. One reason I chose JESLED was the 3-year warranty and that the company seems more established than other companies on Amazon. When choosing the right LED bulb replacement there are so many choices it can be difficult. I can tell you so far I'm very happy with my choice of this bulb replacement. I can't speak to the reliability overtime of these bulbs yet but I can tell you the replacement wiring was simple the light is bright and the bulbs are quiet.

Fantastic Product, bright, ease to install, durable
These are terrific. Easy to install, just remove the ballast and toss it, wire the 115 volt line wire (Black) to the tombstones on one end of your fixture and the neutral (white) wire to the tombstone on the opposite end. The whole process takes about 15 minutes per ballast once you get a bit of practice. Each bulb is brighter than the florescent bulbs. They are amazingly resilient. The bulbs I replaced are at the ceiling of my aircraft hangar, thus located about 25 feet above the concrete floor. While installing them one of the bulbs fell off of the Genie Lift and landed hard on the concrete floor, then bounced a couple of feet. When I retrieved it there was no visible damage, not a crack nor a bend. So I took it right back up to the ceiling and installed it. Perfect light, it lit up without a hitch and has worked ever since. The bulbs are light weight with what appears to be a full length aluminum housing the entire length. The two strips of LED ribbon are attached and covered with a plastic cover. The quality appears to be exceptional, and the packaging they came in was phenomenal. I am not easily impressed. I have been a contractor for 40 years, and I work on Aircraft all the time. My trades demand quality...and I am impressed. My shop/hangar is in Alaska. Temps have been near -20 F recently and the bulbs light instantly in an unheated building. No warm up, no flicker, no noise. The difference is phenomenal!Yeah-sure, at first blush they are a bit more expensive than standard florescent bulbs, but that is a short sighted evaluation. We had a number of fixtures that had two burned out bulbs and a dead ballast. The replacement ballast alone cost nearly $35 each, plus about $10 for each florescent bulb. To get the fixture back into operation was going to cost us more than $55 and the bulbs are short lived in our Alaska winter weather. Considering that the LED light is brighter, uses a fraction of the electricity, lights instantly on these cold winter days and have a 3 year guarantee, it is a no brainer. The bulbs come with something like an instruction sheet but you might want to hire an electrician if you cant use You-tube, or know absolutely nothing about electricity. I used my husband and his tools. They are both a bit old and don't move so well, but I found that method very convenient.)You will save yourself time if you purchase a roll of solid core, 16 gauge wire to easily rewire the fixture once the ballast has been removed. You will need a few wire nuts...orange, yellow, red, and grey.Walking into the shop now is a bit like walking into an operating room, except the shop floor is not as clean and occasionally you find grease on the tools instead of blood.....okay, occasionally my husband leaves a little blood on his tools as well.I love the new LED lights, would never go back.

Good lights. Color could be whiter.
I bought 12 of these bulbs to replace another brand that failed miserably. Received the bulbs very well packaged with no damage. Install was super easy since I had already converted my fixtures. 2 of the 12 were dead on arrival. I reached out to jesled and they sent me warranty replacements with not much hassle. The lights are bright. Though the color is a touch warmer than I thought they would be. All in all good experience and time will tell on how well they hold up.

These LED bulbs bring forth light into the dakness
I had a number of old florescent T12 fixtures with the FA8 single pin bulbs that were beginning to fail. I needed a solution to replace the old bulbs with something that would be a place and forget solution. These LED bulbs from JESLED provided this solution. They are brighter than the old florescent tubes and the daylight color make the work area pop with clarity. I like the V-shape dual LED as it cast the light better than straight down.Installation was a breeze once I decided to replace the tombstones with new ones made by JESLED. I attempted to use the old tombstones but the new LED bulbs would not make proper electrical contact as the JESLED LED bulb pins were about 1/16" shorter and narrower than the original florescent T12 bulbs. After removing the ballast I opted to replace the wiring as it was nearly 60 years old. Using the new tombstones with new wiring allowed me to eliminate all the wire nuts making for a clean install. Using the JESLED tombstones is a must and made it real easy to upgrade the old florescent fixtures to LED bulbs.I noticed that the new JESLED LED bulbs sag in the middle. I was concerned about the stress this might put on the bulb and the LED's so I ordered the JESLED T8 U Clips Holder Bracket and will install one or two clips per bulb to provide additional support when they come in.It took me less than thirty minutes per fixture to gut the old ballast, old wiring, decrepit tombstones, then clean 60 years of dust and grime from the old fixture, install the new wiring, and install the new tombstones. The end results make the effort worthwhile.

Read the install manual before ordering.
The bulbs are great and bright but at the length of 8' they need the support brackets that is talked about in the installation manual. They are a bit flimsy at that length and I feel the support brackets should come with them especially for the price of the bulbs.
