Retrofitted a T12 lamp with 4 LED tubes, ordering 4 more to finish the job now that I know this ballast works.

Exact fit and function for replacing the ballast in our 3 bulb kitchen fixture. Easy install and works great, though ever so slightly slower than the ballast it replaced; the bulbs take an almost not noticeable longer time to illuminate.

I used this 4-lamp ballast to replace 2x 2-lamp old inefficient ballasts. Also switched from T12 fluorescent to T8 LEDs at the same time. This ballast works great -- instant start and no flickering on all maps, and the annoying whine is gone as well. Much more efficient than my previous setup to boot. Just a note: Amazon page title & description both says GE432MV-N which is the model name for multi-volt ProLine, what I actually received was GE432MAX-G-N which is the UltraMax, a step up from ProLine if I'm reading the specs correctly. So no complaints here! As for shipping, I got mine in a bubble wrap mailer with no other protection. So I would recommend you install/test as soon as possible so you can return if needed whilst still in the return window.

works as designed. It will work with LED lights.

I have purchased and installed 4 of these. They are reasonably priced, directions for installation are printed on the ballast, you will need 3 screw caps to reconnect two blue and one red wires on the new ballast to the socket wires for the florescent bulbs. It takes about 15 minutes start to finish to set up ladder, turn off the light, remove clear plastic cover, remove bulbs, (if done carefully you can replace by only removing one bulb), take off metal cover by pushing the long sides towards the middle so that the sides of the cover are released from the slots they are in, use wire cutters to clip the 2 blue and 1 red wires, remove screw caps from black and white wires that connect old ballast to power feed wires, strip the ends of the 2 blue wires and one red wire to expose bare wire, remove screw holding burned out ballast and slide ballast out from slot, install new ballast and put the screw the secures the ballast back in, reconnect the five colored wires that were clipped to the same colored wires on the new ballast & secure the connections with screw caps, put metal cover back on, put bulb(s) back in, turn light on to verify connections are good, put plastic cover back on, remove ladder.
