I was getting a bit fed up defrosting meat and veggies the traditional way (putting it in the sink, running cold water over it, letting it sit for countless hours, then giving up and ordering out) I searched amazon for a product that would make my life easier and that would defrost my meat faster and I stumbled upon this little gem. At first, I will admit it did sound too good to be true. A sanitary way to defrost meat faster without waiting a million hours? I love trying new products especially ones that make my life easier so I didn't hesitate to order it. I am actually REALLY glad I ordered this! The product came a day earlier than expected (a nice little surprise during my afternoon nap) and I had only 3 hours before my husband got home and had no dinner ready. The fast defrosting tray was definitely going to be put to the test. Could I pull off a meal complete with frozen chicken in 3 hours and a toddler? I put out a pound of frozen chicken on the tray, came back after an hour and a half and I really was shocked, 90% thawed!!! I waited another 15 minutes and it was completely thawed and ready for my delicious pasta recipe. Dinner was ready in less than 3 hours and I owe it all to the defrosting tray. I am so excited to use this with my frozen steaks. I will be purchasing a few more as gifts, I'm sure my family will love them!

So I usually don’t write reviews unless I’m really crazy about a product but I received this defosting tray on Wednesday and so far it’s been 3 days now that I have been using it. The first day I used to to defrost shrimp and it cut the time down significantly I mean I would say maybe 15 mins and bam I was ready to make my stir fry. Yesterday, I took out a pound of meat at 1pm I was able to use it around 3pm and usually it would take way longer than that. And lastly, this morning I used it to defrost turkey bacon and it’s crazy how fast it worked I usually have to put in the microwave to defrost it which I hate to do. This has been a life saver for me already and I recommend everyone has one of these in their house.

I brought this in March and did not use it for a month later. I wanted to thaw ground meat. I put the meat on the tray at 8 am by 12 noon, the ground meat had not thawed completely. By 4pm, the ground meat was completely thawed. It is a nice tray though. I may have another use for it.

I usually defrost frozen meat in my microwave under the “defrost” setting which ends up cooking the outside layers and leaving the inside frozen...... so when I’m cooking, it cooks unevenly and sometimes ends up rubbery or just not tasting great. This defrosting tray makes a huge difference. My meat tastes better when I use this tray. It saves me time and effort defrosting. I just leave it on the tray and it defrosts! I don’t have to worry about it partially cooking or waiting forever for it to defrost. Love this defrosting tray!

First of all, I received this tray and it was completely warped and bent. One corner was very sharp on the bottom. I got it to lay as flat as possible but this tray really doesn't cut down the time of defrosting by enough to make a difference. I tried it with chicken, turkey, and beef all straight from the freezer. I'm returning it. Also, it is not dishwasher safe which I do not like.

This works pretty great. I had purchased one of these years ago, but it must have been a replica or something because it didn't work at all. This one legit worked! Usually takes me about 7-8 hours to defrost chicken, and this took less than 2 hours! Ordering more for my mom now.

This defrosting tray works great! I love it! Just make sure to hand wash it. This particular brand sells some good kitchen products. They also sell good quality silicone sponges.
