Here are my ratings for this set
Looks: 4/5. It does look good as a bin lorry, just one thing, why sticker headlights. I understand pieces would be a bit difficult but it might be possible. But other than that, it’s still a good looking set.Functions; 5/5 the functions on this set work really well and they don’t break, well put together and works efficiently.Value: 5/5 for the price I paid for this (£22.99) this is well worth the money, and surprisingly delivery is quick, for £22, it has better functions than sets over £50.Building: 4/5, the building process isn’t that hard, but there are some steps which you would need to take a second look, but other than that it’s pretty easy and enjoyable.Overall: 5/5, worth the money, somewhat easy to build and has a good outcome. If it’s something your interested in, go for it.

Lego rubbish truck
Great Lego set. Fun to build and display. Instructions are excellent.

Encourages tidying up Lego?! Picks up and loads Lego bins, the body tips to empty. It even steers!
Experienced young Lego builders will find this challenging enough to be worth building and satisfying to play with the finished project. This refuse collection truck is certainly not a rubbish toy! Should be ok for a competent rising nine year old builder and above. They may even get the hint to use the truck to pick up all those stray Lego bits and play them back into the box. Good play value for the money.

Beautifully designed
The mechanism for lifting the bins is a work of engineering genius.

This is the second time I've got nearly to the end of construction only to have a piece missing - which I've claimed back and am awaiting delivery. Yes, a suitable toy for all older children (8+) - even an 982-year-old! It's the most expensive Lego I've bought without my wife berating me for wasting money on a kiddie's toy!!!!!!!!!!!

A really fun build with working garbage truck mechanics
This is based on the real life electric Mack garbage truck which is used in the USA currently. It really is a fun build and when completed, you have a trashcan with 'rubbish' comprised of small coloured circles of Lego which you can empty into the garbage truck using the fully working bin emptying mechanism which deposits the 'rubbish' directly into the garbage truck. Not only this but there is a working mechanism to empty rubbish from the truck itself and you can also steer the truck with the small wheel which sits just behind the cab. It's also the first Lego set I've come across which has replaced all the plastic bags with paper bags. A truly 'Green' effort from Lego. And for the price it's going for, get it before it sells out is my advice, you won't regret it!
