So Glad I Finally Bought This
I've been eyeing this bodice for over a year and finally decided to take the plunge. After reading other reviews I did size up. I'm a size 12 dress/Large top usually, 38C bra size, 5'8" and around 175 pounds. I went with an extra large in this piece. The bodice fits great in the waist and is comfortable at the chest. I can get it closed completely with ease, though I leave it a little looser at the top for the visual as I like the looser lacing and subtle v. I could size down if I wanted to, and I believe it would still close except for the very top which might be open a bit. The piece is not super fitted but it is very comfortable and flattering.Since it is not custom fitted, there is a bit of a loose fit under the arms, but it doesn't bother me.The boning on either side of the lacing feels sturdy and secure, and it's a lovely burgundy/wine color. Others have commented on the lightweight feel of the material; while it's certainly not of upholstery quality like some custom made bodices, it is by no means fragile or delicate.Overall, a lovely piece and I'm very happy glad I bought it.

Nice item for the price
I last minute needed a renaissance bodice and this looked similar to what I had that I'd bought from a handmade shop and took a chance. It worked out quite well and I am pretty impressed for the price. I will say it is quite a bit thinner than my handmade bodice which depending on what you're looking for that may be good or bad. I found it not to be as hot, but because it wasn't as substantial I couldn't cinch as tight and it didn't shape me as tightly as my other. Also, the cord including was too short for lacing, but luckily I already had a longer cord I could use. Overall I recommend this for the price point.

Small chested woman's dream!
This bodice is amazing! I'm 5'5", 140 lbs, a 32A cup, and I ordered the small. There is a 2-in gap in the front where you lace it up, but I like that. If you wanted it to close all the way up, then maybe go for a medium. This is a very delicate piece but it seems very well made! There is no stretch to the material, and this is not a corset, So while it will fit you snugly, The material and design is not made to cinch your waist. It mostly just enhances your overall shape. There is boning in the front where the laces tie, So the bodice keeps its shape well. I have wide shoulders, a 26-in waist, and a 39-in hip, so the bodice does cut in a bit at my waist, but I don't mind because I'm used to wearing corsets. Being a 32A cup, it's difficult to find a bodice that doesn't smush me down, so this bodice is amazing because it has a lower neckline! It pulls everything together and slightly pushes up, so if you're smaller chested, you won't be flat as a board! I also have pretty good range of motion in my arms. I love that it's reversible, because that means I can have two different outfits. I got the green one, and I will be purchasing the other two colors!

Well made, runs smaller than US clothing sizes
I was surprised how well made this bodice is. I wear a XL in women's tops, the XXL was a little smaller than I liked, but still worked (e.g. there was a some open space in the front, but not at the point where it looked like "get it together, lady!")

It's well made, but I returned it
The construction and design are solid. I wish I'd ordered a size down to have more of the lacing criss cross show over my chemise. It closed all the way, and pushed up everything it should have. The only reason really decided to return it was because the fabric should have been heavier to really make the most of that design. I have a renaissance faire corset bought years ago that is made almost of upholstery fabric it's so thick, but the design really would benefit from more than a thin cotton. That being said, really it's not bad at all.

Metal Boning Cuts through Fabric
This is a great piece for the price. Beware the metal boning - over time it will cut through the seams of the corset. I've sewn the seams back together a number of times but every time the boning cuts through it again. This is good for a maybe 20 or so uses and then it's done.
