ZWILLINGStainless Steel Colander, Silver, 25 x 24 x 12 cm

I stumbled across this item in a German holiday rental (albeit the next size down), and loved it. The handles are subtle enough to hold, but also great for compact storage. Being the larger size, this is ample big enough for our needs (family of 4). The holes are small enough for draining rice without losing any, and I reckon you could fit a large bag of kale in it to wash in one go. It's lightweight, nice and solid, and feels like it's been designed/manufactured carefully.

Well it is a little bit expensive but the quality is high and easy to clean as holes are punched and deferred. If you need to put down it has a flat bottom so no spills. Should last forever unlike the numerous 'wire' cheaper types where food sticks in mess and handles can fall off .... :-) Go for it you will not regret.

A useful sized colander. Impressive construction quality and very good value the price. Stands up to the dishwasher well.

Super quality. Larger than I had anticipated. I was hoping I might be able to wash rice in this but sadly holes are slightly too large. But great for everything else.

Well made item and no signs of rust which seems to be a problem these days! Drains well and looks very stylish!

Although this is good quality i find it difficult to clean and difficult to handle when pouring hot liquid through.

Good sturdy colander. Easy to clean and doesn’t go out of shape. Should last for years. Use it for straining beans and boiling veg.
