Furniture Fresh - Waterproof Microfiber Furniture Protector with Elastic Back Strap (Sofa, Chocolate)

I have a brand new IKEA TIDAFORS 3 seater sofa, and a cat. So getting a sofa protector, to replace the towels I have previously been using, seemed a good idea.I checked the seat measurements and the arm measurements before ordering, and they were spot on.It arrived an hour or so ago.The seat width is fine, but the total length, and width, is not. In order to get the back to stay up I have to leave a few inches overhang, this means that the arm protectors don't cover the front of the arms, the bit that has the most use, Even with this there is only a few inches overhang at the top for the straps to connect to, and it doesn't look like this will be enough to hold it in place.It needs a longer back section to work properly with a sofa which has a full height back.It also needs the arm protector bits to be wider, there is only about an inch of overhang on them, which just looks weird.So full height arms are also out for this cover.In short if you have a sofa, this may not be the product for you, if you have one of the cushion backed things with a low height back and arms, it will probably be fine.

3 stars because there’s no proper fastening mechanism. It just shifts about, the one strap attached does nothing to hold it in place. There should have been straps at each 4 corner in addition to the strap at d back to keep the cover on the sofa. Ridiculous cover if it’s going to act like a throw

Fits my sofa really well, doesn't stay in place as I would have liked it to do but it is alright

Only just received so unable to comment on durability etc but they are what I was looking for and not slippery or shiny which is what I was concerned about.

Great covers .Look lovely on my settees . Will be buying another set soon as a spare !
