Former Aveeno lovers, you've found your new home
My skin's a little bit sensitive. I have combination skin - it's always been oily, but as I move on into the end of middle age, it's also dry, to the point that I can't use Marseilles soap any more as it dries the skin out to the point of itching. Never mind the occasional psoriasis flare, which can be provoked by stress, weird residues from products, or nothing at all. I liked Marseilles soap because it's a tried and true product with 3 ingredients, but it's over between us. For a long time, Aveeno body wash was my go to. It had a mild fragrance, it was slightly moisturizing, and got me clean without irritating my skin. But it got more and more expensive - I guess natural products like meadowsweet oil don't grow on trees - and just now it was "reformulated." The new formulation has other essential oils and gives the term "fragrance free" a bad name - it smells strong and foul, to the point that my first squirt of it was my last. I've changed back to the pink Neutrogena body wash, but it's a touch drying and has an incredibly strong aroma - for this migraine sufferer, it's like getting hit across the face with a baseball bat, either when I have a migraine or when I'd like not to develop one. Welcome, Dove Ultra Sensitive. 10 artificial ingredients, all chemicals I know from other cleanser labels. No color - it's clear like water. No aroma - if you really take a deep whiff, you can smell a tiny hint of something, maybe like sniffing high quality cardstock - a neutral and very, very faint aroma. I think a normal non-migraine person would say it has no odor at all. (For reference, I cut garlic 3 days ago, shower every day, wash my hands 5x or more a day; and I'd say my fingertips smell about 50x as strong right now as this Dove bodywash.) It got me clean, almost sticky, quickly and with no irritation. I confess I was curious so I let a little bit get into one eye - didn't sting, quickly blinked it out, no muss no fuss. And it all went down the shower drain - left no residue at all. I think, just looking around, that most folks prefer cleansers with strong colors and aromas. If that's not you, you're home. Have a seat and snuggle in.

No reaction, finally!
This is one of fewer & further between products I can use that doesn't cause a negative reaction. The consistency is more like commercially available, bottled aloe (think the pump bottle filled with green goo), than a creamy product that most of us liken to body wash. I feel like I have to use a little more than other body washes previously purchased & since it's a little more expensive, it definitely doesn't last as long. BUT! ..... It works for cleansing my body & I can use it as a shave gel. There really isn't any fragrance & it doesn't lather like other products. Just keep in mind to get a different outcome from any product, it's not really fair to compare it to other products (mostly a note to self). The only real downside I see is the pump style bottle leaves product in the bottom. I wish this were in a squeeze bottle that could be stored upside down in order for less product waste. Maybe I'll find a bottle here that I can transfer this into.

Great for sensitive skin
Great product as someone who has very sensitive eczema prone skin. I used this after having a severe eczema outbreak and it was so gentle and moisturizing to my skin, while still feeling clean. It really does not have a smell; I also used it on my lady parts and no negative reactive. Overall great product, just wish it came in a bigger size. I bathe twice daily so this size bottle does not last long for me.

A good buy for sensitive skin!
Very creamy and moisturizing, lathers nicely, a little goes a long way, and does not cause irritation or rash on my sensitive skin. Reasonable price for the quality.

Good Body wash
As someone with sensitive skin, it's not always easy finding a body wash that’s gentle yet effective, but this one seems good. The body wash is creamy, and lathers well with just a little product. The moisturizing properties are good. My skin feels soft and hydrated right after use, without any greasy residue. It doesn’t strip my skin, which can sometimes happen with other body washes. The fact that it’s fragrance-free is a huge plus for me. I believe the quality makes it a solid investment for anyone with sensitive skin or those who prefer more natural, gentle options in their skincare routine. The body wash lasts a long time in terms of both the bottle. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I can still see plenty left in the bottle.. Overall, the Dove Fragrance-Free Body Wash Ultra Sensitive is a product I would recommend. It’s gentle, effective, and a good choice for anyone looking for a sensitive skin-friendly body wash that delivers lasting moisture without overpowering scents.

Great price for an amazing product
Wow, very impressed with this body wash. Love that's it's good for sensitive skin and fragrance free. Only 10 ingredients which are all non toxic and it lathers amazingly and it's very moisturizing. I love that it's clear and not white. I will definitely be purchasing again. P.S this can be used for private area as well.
