Japanese Cast Iron Teapot with Infuser for Loose Leaf and Tea Bags, Kettle Includes Handle and Removable Lid (Blue, 34oz)

I bought this in the hope of drinking more water, it is a very pretty teapot, incredibly sturdy, I’ve only had it for a couple of months I’m not sure how much it’s going to stand up to time, however at the moment I think it’s good value for money, a great size and very pretty

I absolutely love my new tea pot!! I have been trying to make healthy changes, introducing more home blends of loose herbal tea being one of them..this is the perfect pot, it's so beautiful and easy to use, easy to pour and mess free. I absolutely love it!

Large enough for three people, the stainless basket is very good for herbal/floral purposes as well as quality loose teas. The only downside in such a deep basket is that the last 300ml will still brew/stew a long time if you haven’t poured the whole batch out. I could bend it up quite easily I think, so it’s probably not a problem for you (or me) when drinking good oolong, green, Roiboos or herbs. Only issue I’d have is with strong black teas. Use it with a trivet, it’s cast iron, so it’ll stay warm for ages.

Only used once so far, but it is solidly made, easy to clean, pours without dribbling, and makes a good cup of tea.

Visually this is a really lovely little teapot in a Japanese style. It is dark blue cast iron with a sturdy handle and fixings. The strainer inside is good quality and is still in perfect condition after 6 months of use. The teapot keeps the tea really warm whilst it is infusing and can hold approximately two cups of tea.The only criticism I have is that it seems to be slightly porous or sweat after it has sat for a while and leaves a dark ring of water underneath it that stained my worktop on the second use (Cif removed it), so I now brew the tea with it sat on a tray.

I love how pretty this teapot is and how robust. It keeps my herbal tea at a good temperature for quite a while as well. Never going back to china teapots. It holds enough for about 4 or 5 small teacups worth of tea. The strainer works very well. I haven't found any negatives yet. Didn't take long to arrive either and the price was competitive.
