So we found this alternative that is totally safe for humans and pets. It uses an ultrasonic frequency that rats and other pests stay away from and I was honestly a bit skeptical....BUT THESE THINGS REALLY WORK!! 🙌Just plugged them in and after 3 days we haven't seen any rats or droppings!! Highly recommend these if you have a pest problem! Nice, I love these...we had a field mouse issue for years I have been battling..traps under house and bait (I so hate bait and picking traps under the house) becuz I have inside animals I really did not want bait in my house nor mice firing from poison in my house..so it was tuff I have two cats one that did a good job the other just lazy..but one day my daughter sent me a video of one of my dogs upset , good lord it was not a mouse but bigger the dog was trying to kill it and had it trapped in the kitchen.no hell no I ordered four packs of these becuz I have huge spaces. Four are under my house we ran an extension cord down into the crawl space to see if this would work..We had no idea where mice where getting in until we did a remodel and it turned out the builders left a hole under a bathtub and another in a wall where a vent pipe was supposed to run but they never hooked it up from the crawl space to the second floor. So we found out this is how they where entering my kitchen from under the cabinets buy eating a hole in the drywall behind the tub behind my 220 stove plug also they got to the second floor area in its crawl/attic space behind the walls. The contractor blocked all the holes up and proceeded to rip my other tub up after we saw that again another gaping hole by the tub drain we never saw from under the house. I put these things in every room downstairs stairs, two In the garage and one in ever room upstairs and behind my walls upstairs...I have not seen a mouse nor a rat not heard any noise in my walls like before in three months. These do fit in a receptacle with a light bulb. Upstairs in our crawl space we have fixtures behind the wall to service the heat pump and for the attic crawl spaces I bought a screw in receptacle that takes a light bulb and plug I just leave the switch on but pull the chain to turn the light off and this stays powered on behind the walls . under the house I had four outside outlets installed under the house when I firgured out these indeed do work..I wish I found these sooner...the house has no flys, spiders, fruit flys, mice (ohh hell I hate mice) nor have I heard or seen any rat in my house in months...these r worth the cost ..to install outlets under my house it was 350 labor plus parts not bad..not even a pest control company could keep the mice at bay without poison..now there is no poison and only pest control coming to look for signs of rodents and they are finding none.

I don't usually write reviews but figured I would for this product because I was pleasantly surprised. My office is in my converted detached garage. Unfortunately that means mice and other pests have easy access to this space. I also have pets (two cats and a dog) all of which, as it turns out, are terrible at keeping the pests away as they would much rather be sitting on the back porch taking in the sunshine, all the while, the scummy little mice have been feasting on the ethernet and wires from my computer equipment.All that being said, I opted for this option vs poison (while useless, my pets don't deserve to die) as it is a pet safe alternative. I've been using these for about a week with good success. I haven't seen any sign of the mice and there have definitely been less bugs, even in the warmer weather we've been having.

They seem to be working. My boyfriend has seen mice run through our bedroom & we caught some in traps. Every time my neighbor mows their lawn, we get invaded.We went to clean out our extra bedroom, aka our storage room. lolWell we found a nest. Ugh!! Gross!I immediately started looking for something to get rid of the varmints. I remembered my boyfriend has one of these in our camper at the hunting camp & asked if he thought it worked.He stated that our camper & another person’s converted storage building was the only 2 places that didn’t have mice & the only 2 with these devices.So I purchased these at a reasonable price, put one in every room as soon as they got here & we haven’t seen any evidence of the mice still being in the house.
