Lens covers scratch immediatly and make it unusable
Unfortunately this is the only case available so you don’t have much choice buy this poorly built piece of you know what, or leave your Rylo (which is amazingly well built) unprotected, the lens covers are made of a plastic that is far too soft and scratches by merely rubbing against your clothes so now I’m stuck on vacation with no choice but to hope for the best and shoot without the case , I do not recommend this item and if you find another option try that instead, I’ve used GoPros for years and never had any experience anything like this

The lenses scratch worse than cheap sunglasses!!!
The Rylo 360 camera is simply amazing!!! This stupid expensive case however... Well, it'll protect your camera and seems well made overall but the protective lenses seriously suck and will scratch with the slightest glance from just about anything (even the cloth you use to clean it - seriously) and thus totally compromise your footage.Given everything else I'm just dumbfounded with this oversight. Like come on y'all?! It's a camera - ya kinda need to use the lenses!!!Also, the unit sometimes heats up and fogs the lenses. So it's not uncommon to find that your footage is ruined either by scratches on the lens or fog on the interior.Given Rylos amazing stabilization and the way it camptures footage a scratch on the lens will bounce around the frame creating a huge distraction when compared to a comprable point and shoot camera. If your lenses aren't pristine you can kiss your shot goodbye (which makes this far too costly item even more infuriating). The audio isn't bad for an action camera in a protective case and I've heard they updated the software to help with that. It's fine by me and I think most folks wouldn't take issue.I'm sure it's waterproof as it has a really tight seal (although I've yet to try it in the rain or underwater) but far and away the biggest takeaway is that the replaceable leneses on the adventure case scratch like crazy! They. Are. Seriously. The. Worst!I've been using action cameras for years now (like daily for hours on end) and this lens oversight just boggles the mind...I've now gone thru like 8 lenses and they're $25 for a pack of 2 if ya buy em as replacements. So maintaining my Rylos safety is getting absurdly costly.I'd give this item 4 stars if they'd only improve the lenses which for a camera of all things are something of an important feature - and 5 stars if the price wasn't so damn inflated.Okay, I'm done griping. Rylo, please fix this!!!

Audio will not record using this case, but other than that it's very good quality and protects the camera lens.
Big thing to know about this case is you won't get any audio! I do believe it's a quality product. This case gets high marks for quality, simple functionality and I believe clarity in water to be good. However, outside of the water I did notice a slight loss in clarity when using in a bright sunny day, such as skiing or at beach. There's also some overexposure around the outer edge of the video frame. Not terribly noticeable, but it should be further tested by the product teams. The BIG thing to know before using this case is that you cannot record sound with this case. Because it's sealed off, sound can't be recorded. Seems obvious now, but that's just something to remember when you're using it in and out of the water. Would be cool to see Rylo offer an external bluetooth mic or record the audio using the iPhone.

First 2 star review I have written. Lens scratches just looking at it.
The case itself is pretty good. However the len covers are so fragile they will scratch just by looking at them. I had already reads the online reviews regarding the scratch issue. so I purchased a soft pouch to keep the case and rylo from getting damaged.First hike I did...two scratches. Didnt even notice it at first because I was being so dang careful. it wasnt until I saw the photos and video. Sure enough there were two scratches. It scratches so easily, Rylo sells lens replacement kits for $25...close to 50% of the case cost. smdh.

Expensive disposable case
The camera is excellent can’t say enough good things about it... but the case it’s crap. One drop on the floor and the lens part will get scratched making it useless to use again. It makes you think it is an extremely expensive disposable case... they have to come up with something that will avoid the scratches on the case because a camera that is $500 needs a protector just like an expensive cellphone. without a protector you are asking for the lense to get scratched

waterproof but...
It scratches easily and thats visible with some videos. Also a certain glare is visible too. The audio suffers as well, and the stitching seam between the two lenses are more visible when using the case.It is waterproof within the specified limits of the product and has survived both freshwater and saltwater uses.

Rylo overheats in this.
Of little use as the Rylo overheats quickly in this enclosure. Would probably work fine in the winter.

My new favorite travel toy
So cool for dogs and hiking!!I bought this camera for my husband because he loves taking videos of our dogs when we are driving around our ranch. I also wanted to have a good action camera for our honeymoon. I saw an ad for Rylo in my IG feed and didn't know if the stabilization was actually that good BUT I can now report it is actually that good! It definitely blew me out of the water with the quality of the footage! Nice job Rylo! Definitely recommend!!!!
