Couldn't recommend it enough
Fantastic, detailed, very read-able book!! Everything that I did which was recommended by James (author) was spot on. I downloaded the kindle version and it was priceless, especially for the price I paid! I couldn't recommend this book enough.

Great alternative guidebook.
A really great guidebook offering a nice alternative to the more mainstream guidebook publications. We particularly like the fact that hotels aren't in the book, so making more space for the things you need to know while you are actually on holiday. Hotel recommendations that go with the book are included on a website.Also the photos are fantastic, glossy and come thick and fast - making it a great book for my kids to look through.

Interesting and helpful book
I usually always go to the Lonely planet for travel guides but I read some blogs online by this author and got some useful tips. I really enjoyed reading a different perspective on Costa Rica by someone who had first hand experience of the country.
