$48 speakers should not sound this good!
I bought a pair of each, the 4" woofer and 2.5" woofer. The five stars is for the 4" model, but I will review both here since I can only make one review. Please note that I'm an avid audiophile and trained sound tech, so I'll probably be more discerning than most. 4" Model - Amazing speaker for the price. Yes, I factored the price into the rating. This speaker has flaws, I can hear where there are some frequency spikes, mostly in the mids. If it was measured, there would be some issues, but not enough to keep them from sounding pleasant. The bass response from these 4" woofers is insane! Very full sounding speaker, even without a sub. And with a sub, they make a VERY respectable system. I highly recommend these for an office, bedroom, even a small living space. I have speakers that cost a lot of money, but I'm not rich, so can't have high-end in every room. That's where great sounding budget speakers come in, and these are fine ones. 2.5" woofer. I would not have rated this one as high, for several reasons. The good: tweeter is very pleasant sounding, and while not as bassy as it's big brother, the tiny 2.5" woofer makes more bass than it should. Many 4" speakers don't make this much bass! Like it's big brother, it's not terribly refined, so there are some inaccuracies in it, but not bad. The bad: Build quality is not great. The vinyl wrap has wrinkles in it, so appearance is less than it could be. And this speaker has pretty cheap spring terminals instead of binding posts. It's also inefficient; takes considerably more power to drive than it's big brother. But for $29? Insane! Pair these with a sub and they would be great computer speakers or for any small space. Again...if you're one of those guys who only approve of certain brands that cost thousands, these are not the speakers for you. But for someone looking for pleasant sound on a

Wow these sound great!
I needed a couple bookshelf speakers for the kitchen and I'm glad I picked these. Small but more than enough power to fill the space with good, loud, clear sound. Took no time to set up. I'd buy them again.

Best for the Money Anywhere
Needed speakers in the kitchen. I simply can't believe that anyone anywhere has better speakers for this price. They are small, solid, nicely covered, grills easily removed and replaced. Connectors are also solid and sure. Easy to hang with included anchors. Sound is more than adequate for anywhere you'd put $35 speakers. Surprising bass. Not looking for boutique perfection. A great value.

Interesting speaker
I purchased these (did not get them for free like most of the other reviewers as of the date of this posting) to play back low-level background music for my dogs when I’m not home (think elevator music, escape channel on the Sirius/xm). I have them hooked to a small amp that uses a TDA7375A Stereo Power Amplifier chip (Class A/B) that is about 12 watts/channel, signal supplied by an amazon Echo line level out. After being broken-in for a few days (they sound a bit aggressive/honky out of the box) they manage to sound really decent. The “tweeter” is more like a full range driver, due to this they have a very clear treble and an extremely good sound stage. The speakers sound much larger than they are. They also manage to have bass that is in line, level wise with the treble, almost like a smart speaker with DSP. The speakers are rear ported, although I’ve not taken them apart, I think both the mini woofer (bottom driver) and the full range speaker (top driver) share the same acoustic space (whatever works I guess). For the price they are a pretty good deal (assuming you don’t have crazy expectations). It's hands down better than the Micca COVO-S - the worst speaker I've ever purchased from amazon.

Excellent Little Speakers!
I got these for temporary use and these work great... Much better than I had expected considering their size. I would recommend these for a smaller sound system> Audio sounds good, Handles an adequate amount of power.

They are ok for what they are. cheap stereo speakers. nothing fancy.
They are ok for what they are. Could be better with better crossover components and better tweeter. Tested lowering the tuning of the port by adding an extension (60-70hz) and it removed a lot of the boominess from them and made them sound a lot smoother and cleaner with better more impactful bass. Woofer drivers are more accurately described as 2.5" drivers. Fairly well built "beefy" 20w rated 6ohm drivers. needs a good amp to push them to their full capability due to the higher ohm rating. Tested removing resistors from the tweeters and it brightened them up a bit (Sounds better to my tired ears) UPDATE: Added a 4" passive radiator to each with about 50hz tuning and they absolutely slam now sounds like a much bigger subwoofer hidden somewhere in the room. Cleaner sound overall too compared to before. Perfect cabinet size to squeeze a 4" passive radiator in. Needs good thick foam cushioning under them to prevent them from walking across the desk though! Huge win.

Very nice for little speakers
I bought a nice and not cheap sound bar but the satellite speaker were garbage. I replaced them with these and now the sound is excellent.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Wanted something smaller as my Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 speakers were incongruous and far too big on thd bookcases. These tiny little units have wonderful clarity and bass punch and the stereo separation is excellent. I'm using a NAD amp which matches well. Very pleased and would recommend to those who want something with power yet compact.
