Excellent!
Initially had doubts as I've purchased something similar before and had to return it as it didn't meet expectations. But this one is just beyond words, so cool. Heats food quickly and is very compact. Excellent quality! There are two power cables included, one is for a car and the other one for a regular outlet. Need three more for the whole family.

Nice little meal sized slow cooker/hot pot
I have had a 12V "trucker's hot lunchbox" before, this little pot seems to be nicer in several aspects. It has an inner lid with a gasket, held in place if required by the outer lid with a pair of latches, plus the inner lid has a SEALABLE VENT.If one were using this to warm up a meal while driving in a vehicle, I believe it would be quite "slosh" proof during normal vehicle acceleration & maneuvering, something my old rectangular trucker's box was NOT after a few uses compressed the lid seal. The exterior is a slightly tacky soft-ish plastic (silicone?), shouldn't mar surfaces in a vehicle. The inner stainless steel pot LIFTS OUT for easy washing, another nice feature. My old box DID NOT, you had to try and wash the whole (not immersion safe!) appliance, hard to do at a roadside.I have tested heating speed on 500ml of water while running on (nominal)110VAC. First I did the engineering math, based on the claimed 80W. IF there were perfect insulation, no losses or wasted energy? It should have taken about 35 minutes to heat my half liter of 70°F water to just below the boiling point (212°F). Of course this is not a perfect world! What I measured @ 35 minutes was 175° F. The exterior of the pot was pleasantly warm to the touch, so the reason for some energy loss is obvious (the exterior never got too warm to comfortably touch). After about 48 minutes, the water was at 200°F. At an hour, right at 210°F., gently simmering. The pot never would come to a "rolling boil", after 90 minutes it still was just at 212°F, I expect the maker may have included a thermistor or other over temperature prevention mechanism, which would be another plus- I don't want to saute in this little pot, or burn the contents. My back of envelope calculations suggest that on (nominal, vehicles usually supply a little over 13V) 12VDC and the claimed 50W, this pot could get a half liter of water to near boiling in about 100 minutes. Quite adequate performance if you want to heat a large can of soup, heat enough water to make a big bowl of ramen or even slow cook a crock pot of stew while driving down the road.I would NOT try and use this appliance in a PARKED passenger type vehicle with the motor off or even just idling. Unless it was an electric car with a huge battery or an over the road truck with multiple large batteries, you might run the battery down too far to re start after a couple of hours use- Pot should draw about 4.2A at 12VDC, so you can do the math. (Make sure you've got it on a large enough fuse- I'd guess a10A circuit should be fine). We shall see how easy it is to clean after we use it, will update after going on the road.

Great for roadtrips when you have celiacs
This little lunch box/warmer makes cold weather meals so much easier since I can take soup to work and plug it in about 15 minutes before I want to eat and it's hot by time I get to it. If you're anything like me, you don't really visualize what 32oz is until you see it, so this thing can hold A LOT of soup if you're in the situation where you want to bring food for a couple of people in the car (it has a plugin for the car outlet) or on a picnic, which actually works really well for a roadtrip and bringing pasta. I have celiacs so it's hard for me to eat while on roadtrips of any kind, so I end up packing myself cold foods in an insulated bag. So this is really great for those instances. I packed a couple bags of different gluten free pasta and when I was getting hungry, I plugged this in in the car and empty a bag into the pot to warm. Voila... no need to stop and try to figure out something I can eat and where or if I'm only going to be able to get salad. I had hot meals the entire 16 hour drive. I will also end up making my own food for family get togethers so I know I'll have something to eat. To me it's feels very much like putting a burden on someone else for my own dietary restrictions.Another option I'll be trying with this in the next couple of weeks is making dip to go to a party the night before, and then being able to easily transport it and warm it at a friends house.

Great portable warmer
This warmer for food is great. First it holds a lot so that is really nice. It is easy to use, and easy to clean. It actually doesn't leak which is a huge bonus and I really like that it is so portable. I haven't used the car charger yet, but it works very well for heating things up for me at work. I like that it doesn't take very long- approximately 15 minutes for a full bowl of soup, and it is really cute in the design and look of it. This is very handy to have and I use it every day I am at work to heat my food so I don't have to rely on the microwave or stove!

Several advantages over the Crockpot lunch crock. Get it!
I've been using a brand name Crockpot lunch crock for the last 10 years (a long time!) at my office desk so I definitely have experience with exactly this type of warmer and was eager to try this one by Aotto. The Aotto warmer has several features that make this preferable to the Crockpot warmer: 1) Capacity: this one holds 32 oz where the (discontinued) Crockpot I have holds 24 oz -- and the newer models made by Crockpot only hold 20 oz. which isn't nearly enough space for most meals and only fits a can of soup. But this Aotto warmer fits plenty more food with room to spare -- while the external dimensions are almost the same. I use my warmer to heat up everything from casseroles to burritos to BBQ so I need the extra space. 2. The Aotto has a leak-proof latching cover to prevent spills and makes it safe for travel. The Crockpot is definitely not leak proof (my stained work cabinet attests to that) and the lid just sets on top. 3. The Aotto has 2 separate cords so you can plug it into either a regular house outlet or a car lighter, making it versatile for travel. Crockpot is definitely not travel friendly and can only be used in a normal outlet. The only features Crockpot has over the Aotto are: a) quality of the plastic: Crockpot uses a glossier more expensive looking plastic on the outer shell than the Aotto does, but the inner pan and heating element are similar and b) The Aotto doesn't have a power switch: You plug it into the cord to heat up and unplug it to turn it off but the Crockpot I have has an on/off switch which is a little more practical IMO. However, if this Aotto existed at the time I was originally shopping 10 years ago I would've gone for this one instead of Crockpot and I'm glad to have it now.
