Bought this and when it arrived I was blown away by the quality. The product is really nice and made from heavy fabric. It looks far more expensive that it actually is. I have put it through a washing machine once in a lingerie bag on the most delicate cycle and it was fine.

I ordered the FAD-4U Church Catholic Priest Chasubles Vestments for Church Mass because its sale page clearly stated that this was suitable for clergy as well as for choristers and costume purposes.This purple and gold chasuble is lovely, and would be completely suitable for a priest or clergy member, it would also be great for a choir or as a costume.My family is a theatrical one, we have worked on Broadway and elsewhere, and we live in NYC in a little house filled with costumes, swords, hats, wigs, Original Broadway Cast Albums, etc.My son went to a masquerade prom a while back dressed as the Pope (long story). He said the vestments were super comfortable, and if I ever found another great set, please grab them for our costume collection.This is a really nice chasuble. It is made of a heavyish polyester-cotton blend. It is comfortable to wear and not at all scratchy. The chasuble is like a cloak or overgarment, so it is a little difficult to get exact measurements. It is about 51” long and about 56” wide.This is a very draped garment that can fit many different sized people. It has a wide, slightly padded collar that the rest of the fabric hangs from. The chasuble is a deep purple with blueish undertones.The decorative trim that bisects the front is a slightly different shade of purple, one with more red undertones. This is a purple and gold brocade with gold thread embroidery. The brocade ribbon is wide, and runs down the front center of the chasuble. It also creates a V coming off the center panel of ribbon. The brocade gives a rich feeling to the garment.The chasuble comes with a matching stole made of the same purple poly-cotton material and trimmed with the same embroidered brocade at the end of the stole. The ends are also decorated with a gold fringe.My son found this easy to put on and very comfortable to wear. It is a great addition to our costume collection and I can see it being useful for all kinds of costumes. I think it would also be great for a church choir or for an altar server, and definitely for a priest or clergy member.This chasuble is lovely, well-made and aesthetically pleasing. The deep, rich purple color and the gold-embroidered brocade combine for a beautiful effect.

I was seriously blown away when I opened it, it totally exceeded my expectations! I got the deep violet/amethyst purple one. Made of really nice soft fabric with a good weave/weight to it, it drapes beautifully!There is not a bad stitch anywhere on this thing! The wide decorative ribbon/brocade is even more stunning with the wonderful metallic accents and very deep purple color! It's on the front and back of the garment. This has a detached sash that can be worn around the neck, it also has the brocade on it and has bright gold color fringe on the ends of it.So this an on/off over your head. It's a versatile garment. I got it with the idea of working it into a ren faire or cos play or olde time period outfit.... This is a really high quality well made garment, make no mistake in thinking this is some cheap cheesy halloween costume!This comes in your choice of 5 beautiful colors and when I stack this VS the regular price $57.99 per the listing it is high priced, but I would point out that for the high quality of this item it is worth it if you want something that is not a poorly done halloween costume.
