Good value for money. Highly recommended!
For many years I used to play occasionally for fun with 16 grams Brass still darts, which came by default along with my originally purchased dartsboard. Now, it was time to improve my gameplay, and I wanted to try heavier darts since most professionals play with 21-25-gram darts. This was my first tungsten still darts, and I gave it a try to 23gr darts since is somewhere in the middle. Going from 16g to 23g is a big step up, however, I have seen my performance slightly improved. Also, you should not be expecting to change darts all sudden to become a pro. Those darts are 80% tungsten still, and after experimenting with several stem lengths and flight types, I have concluded that suit me best medium stems 48mm (not included) with standard flight No2 (included). I had no idea that there are so many dart set variations, but I could say that I learned a lot lately.I have tried stems from other brands as well like Unicorn and Harrows, but some broke after a couple of weeks of practice. Although I broke some stems and rings from other brands, still I don't count a single target stem broken. Therefore, I can tell that the "Target Pro grip" stems that come with this package are the most durable, easy to find, and the cheapest in the market. This makes them the best, and probably I am going to use them even in my future dart sets. The next step for me was to try different weights and barrel types. I am a Mid-gripper, my grip is in the middle and slightly towards the rear, and I find this barrel very good. The smooth section that has helps to grab your spot without watching. However, sometimes is slippery, and I would prefer if it was more grippy in the middle instead of smooth. So, I have decided to keep those for my wife and get another set for me, with 90+% tungsten still, heavier, and of course more expensive. At the moment I have picked one darts set each from the most famous brands (Red Dragon, Harrows, Unicorn, Target) with different weights and barrel types (front weight, rear weight, middle weight), and after practicing with all of them, I have concluded that ARES darts (middle-weight) are the best of them and currently those are the ones that I am using (not my wife). I found those darts even better than more professional darts that exist in the market. Maybe that's because 23g is the right weight for me, and I haven't picked another set of 23g. This could be the reason that I have better performance with them, especially when trying to hit doubles. The Dartscounter app currently offers 3 games online per week without membership, which for me is more than enough. I have tried playing online a couple of games, but I am not impressed by the online darts gameplay as there are a lot of considerations. Although there is a requirement for camera usage and you can see the darts being shot, however, you don't know how far your opponent is hitting those triple 20s. You cannot see scores from previous turns or history, not easy to track your opponent's score, and there are some bugs. So, not very interested in using this free month membership card, a month is just for a taste, maybe if it was a year I would consider it.In conclusion, those darts may be entry-level darts, and definitely not the best darts set that Target has to offer. However, are at a very reasonable price, good quality, very good value for money, and after almost a month of daily practice, I highly recommend ARES darts not only for beginners, but maybe for professionals too. It's definitely worth buying them.

Well made and nice weight. Shame about the flights
The Target darts pack contains one set of barrels, 2 sets of pro grip shafts, 9 pro ultra flights, a pouch/wallet to keep everything neatly organised and a month’s subscription to the Dart Counter app.The barrels are of good quality and have sharp points that look like they will last a long time. The barrels are textured ensuring a good grip, and at 23g they are a nice weight so you don’t have to throw too hard and suffer fatigue.Like the barrels, the shafts are well made and more than sturdy enough for the job at hand. I find that some shafts have loose flight grooves, which leads to the flights constantly coming out. I have yet to experience this with these darts. The flights are okay but not the best quality and the plain grey, plain white and plain black colour scheme is a bit boring. The flights do a good job and ensure a smooth and straight flight, however they are underwhelming. It’s a shame as the flights let the entire package down a bit.At £29.95 (at the time of review) these Target darts may seem expensive but considering there is a set of spare shafts, and a couple of spare sets of flights (that aren’t perfect but functional) and a wallet/case for storage the entire pack is good value for money.I have not used the free trial of the dart counter app because I am old school and like to keep my brain working doing the number work in my head. For those players that struggle with numbers or simply can’t be bothered with mental arithmetic I can see the dart counter app being quite useful. I am unable to comment on it’s functionality, ease of use or how buggy it may, or may not be.All things considered these Target darts are very good and come recommended. I would, however, suggest dispensing with the flights and using something else if you have the capacity to do so.Disclaimer: I am privileged enough to be part of the Amazon Vine program and as such I have the opportunity request products that I would find useful/potentially buy to road test in exchange for an honest review. I am not paid for this and all of my reviews are unbiased and based on my own experience.

Weighty set of tungsten darts - great for home and Pub
With no strange deviations to account for, they land exactly where you toss them, and the sharp steel tip effectively penetrates the board. Not every player will find this to be ideal, but the way the barrel is designed, your grip is usually most comfortable on the front of the dart. The barrel's gunmetal tone adds a nice aesthetic and elevates the darts. A set of darts can be stored in the included leather-like container, however the extra flights and shafts from the package are not included.

Precision Strikes with Tungsten Steel Tip Dart Set
Recently acquired a tungsten steel tip dart set bundled with six pro grip shafts, nine pro ultra flights, and a dart wallet. This comprehensive package has truly transformed my dart-playing experience. The tungsten steel tips provide a level of precision that has significantly improved my accuracy on the dartboard. The inclusion of six pro grip shafts not only enhances the overall grip but also ensures a comfortable and controlled feel with each throw. The nine pro ultra flights offer variety and customization, allowing me to experiment with different aerodynamics. The dart wallet, a thoughtful addition, keeps everything neatly organized and easily accessible. While not delving into intricate details, the set as a whole has noticeably elevated my dart game. It's a well-thought-out bundle that caters to both performance and convenience, making it an excellent addition to my game night arsenal.
