I wanted something other than the flimsy carabiners that came with my flag pole. These are holding up great, even through many bad storms. I've noticed my flag eyelets aren't ripping out anymore too. They make it easy to take my flags on and off the pole too. If they do eventually fail, I have more to replace them with. The lock nuts seem to stay in place too. There is no "stop" for the lock nuts, but they seem to stay where I set them. Good value and I would recommend them.

I purchased this set of carabiners before a recent trip. They came in handy for so many things, including hanging a ball cap, keys, a small flashlight, a camera case, or a water bottle to the outside of my backpack or purse as needed. When I felt like I needed extra security against possible pickpockets I could also secure zipper pulls together to make it more difficult for a thief to get into my backpack easily and undetected. I also used the carabiners to hang items to dry, attach a towel or range finder to my golf bag, and hang reusable grocery bags easily in one place. I know I will use them for many other things as well. The carabiners in this set are sturdy and I like the extra security of the locking mechanism. The pretty colors make them fun to use. A good purchase all around.

Wonderful and sturdy! I would have given a higher rating had the packaging been better. Each carabiner was seperately packaged in a tiny Ziploc bag inside of the plastic case. Using so many bags is such a waste of plastic and my time, and I see no reason to have each one seperately packaged when they come in such a nice, sturdy container.
