Not worth it at ll.
Yes, the item is indeed 5.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 inches, but I guess I didn't read that properly, so I received a $10.99 plastic mini toy. The bottom is transparent, the top tray fits fine, but I had to wrap it in a napkin to keep out the light, so the purpose of this item was lost. In other words, the bottom should be black and there should be an extra black cover to shelter the microgreens until photosynthesis is desired. It was, however, a good DIY incentive, so I'll stick with my old growing methods using stray containers. On further review, the unit fostered mold despite water change twice daily.

Not a kit - disappointing
Disappointing. Since this is called a 'kit' I expected it to arrive with seeds so that I could get started using it. No seeds--so had to order seeds elsewhere and am waiting. My impression is that this is a pretty overpriced, little container. I'll give it a try but expect that I'll return to other methods I've used in the past.

Nice product!
Nice sprouting kit! I can sprout all I need at once to fill all my cups! This kit does not come with seeds but why would it, you would want to use A brand you trust! It does state that in the description anyway.
