I first discovered this sauce after a friend at work was heating up his lunch. It smelled so amazing that I had to ask what it was He said it was just something that his wife made and the next day, she had sent me a box of the mild version. I followed the recipe on the box and my sons and I loved it - but they love extra spice and heat, so I ordered this one, and it definitely brings the heat! Two boxes, four meals, we love it and it has become part of our "favorite recipes" rotation. The email to submit a review reminded me that I need to buy more!

This is the standard Japanese curry rouex made and sold for many years by S&B. It comes in a variety of heat from mild to extra hot. None of them are very hot. The extra hot has a little heat, the mild is very bland without any heat. Still a very tasty curry base, one which I have eaten for years and will continue to eat for years to come.

S&B is known for outstanding Asian food products, so it's no surprise that their "Extra Hot" version (their highest heat level) of their curry sauce dramatically ratchets up the heat level! It's difficult to find this heat level in stores.More so, you get the rich, tasty S&B Asian curry flavor as well. Your tastebuds will dance in delight!I use it on tofu, pasta, rice dishes, potatoes, hamburger steaks, meatloaf, plus more.If you love curry and crave "the heat," this is the one for you!

GREWAT VALUE AND GREAT TASTE. IT IS GOOD TO GET A QUALITY PRODUCT.

This curry has some kick to it. Not at first, but it'll creep up on you. I like a little heat, so I love it.

It’s tasty but not as spicy as I hoped it would be.
