Nice pack, used daily
I reluctantly had to abandon camelbak for this brand as I wanted 20L. Over one year later, I've not had any problems. In my opinion it does not have the quality feel of a camelback, the fabric is a little stiffer. But it is durable, light and comfortable on bike or run, and I use it a lot with training gear in it, or sometimes a large laptop.

Perfect day sack.
Great size, comfort and look. My wife used to carry a light school style back pack whilst I carried a bigger ruck sack. Even after a couple of hours the backpack was uncomfortable and get heavy. The Saloman is really comfortable and holds a surprising amount. Perfect day sack.

Very good - a few minor niggles
I've used this for several short runs as tests, and then for a 21km run. This is the first larger backpack I've used for running - I've previous used a Camelbak which is hardly any bigger than its 1.5 litre hydration reservoir and so could carry almost nothing extra. By contrast this has good capacity for clothes, food and other things that I may want during the run or (for my intended use case) after the run but before I get home.I was initially a little anxious from my short test runs that it would bounce around on my back, but I think that was because I was carrying too little stuff - once it has a little weight in it, it became much more stable. Also, I realised that the chest strap can be adjusted so it runs a little lower across my chest, that helped. The 21km run was comfortable with no chafing on my shoulders or back, and in general the bag is comfortable to wear. The Camelbak reservoir fitted fine with access out in a convenient place for the water tube, though (unlike the backpack it came with) there is nowhere to tuck away the valve end of the water tube to stop it bobbing about. I pushed it beneath the shoulder strap after each use, and that worked fine while the bag was being worn, but it thus flailed about when I took the bag off. A separate clip is something I'll be looking for - but an elasticated loop running vertically at the base of the shoulder straps would be a good addition to the bag.I like the extra front pocket, the large main compartment, and the top pocket - though the strap for the key clip in the top pocket is rather inclined to get caught in the zip.The little side pockets on the waist strap (one zipped, one just a pouch) could be useful, but are a bit too far around to the back to be comfortably accessible while running - and it would be really good to have somewhere convenient to store a phone which could be accessed without having to take off the bag.

Very comfy no nonsense backpack.
This 20 L backpack holds all I needed for a days hike or as a carry on . It doesnt have lots of extra pockets but those it has are useful- small one on top for e.g.sunglasses, one on waist strap for e.g. tissues or bug spay and one on front for small flat items. The inner pocket held my laptop (mac book air) easily. It is very comfy to wear and the waist strap a real bonus if you have heavy items. The straps dont dig in and the chest strap also good- cant fauly it really.

Good running bag
I've had this bag for a couple of weeks now, i bought it to be able to run to the gym with, and it ticks the boxes for this , lightweight with enough space to carry all i need, (granted isn't a lot). lots of useful little pockets. The zip has caught a couple of times which although annoying isn't to dramatic. as most backpacks do, you can tighten it enough so it doesn't bounce when running. So far so good.

Lightweight but is it tough enough?
I bought this for my son and expected great quality for a £50 day sack. I returned unused. It was very thin and felt it would not be robust enough for purpose. If however you are after a very light day sack for occasional use and that will fit inside a burger/rucksack without any bother, then this is for you.

Great for day hikes
One of the best day pack if you’ve mastered the art of packing light. It looks small but can hold all the essentials and more… I call it “bottomless pit”. Even use it for city breaks.
