Really upset thought this was a company that produced freeze dried candy.The package itself says they make them in the first sentence.And the item isn’t returnable.

Unexpectedly, the shapes are actually a bit different.The bones and fingers seem to be made the same. They are solid, like gummies of a bygone era. These are harder to chew, but delicious. I can't identify the flavoring, if there's even supposed to be a flavor, but I could eat these all day long.The eyes and brains, on the other hand, seem to have a jelly texture inside them. These are a bit less desirable for me, but that's just personal preference. Once again, I couldn't tell what the flavoring was supposed to be, but it was pretty good.

My son picked these out, and when they came, I very surprised with how cool they are! They taste really delicious too (especially the fingers lol) Super cool candy!

Normally we like a little bit of variety in our bags of gummies, but for one that's more about the novelty shape and appearance than flavor these "alien gummy brains" by Space Age Snacks (more well known for their freeze dried candies) were pretty good. The fruity flavor is kind of hard to nail down, it's kind of a generic "tutti-fruitti"-esque thing but it's not bad and unless you're just eating this bag as a one-off by yourself and not mixing them in to something (we put these into cherry Jell-O with other gummy body parts we found then the flavor might get old faster.By themselves 3-5 at a time was enough for me, as I really like more of a mix of flavors, but I'm sure plenty will be content with the single flavor as long as that general fruitiness appeals to you.I think the only thing that makes these "alien" brains and not just brains is the kind of multi-color tie-dye look, but to the credit of these the mold to make these gummies really does a great job of leaving the gummy texture with a fair amount of detail.***Overall Value***For a basic bag of gummies these would be on the pricey side, but the specialized shape means you're not going to have a lot of competition if you need a nice brain-shaped gummy for a custom Halloween-dessert, at which point this bag is as good a value as you're likely to find.

While the taste of these gummy candies is not the best, they are at least enjoyable to eat. Out of all the shapes, I'd have to say the brains is the least enjoyable part. The texture is fine, with a somewhat soft top part, soft gel like in the middle, and more chewy bottom, but have a foul aftertaste. The fingers and bones both taste the same, and are enjoyable, and the eyes are my favorite. I like space age candies, but these aren't cutting it

After having my socks knocked off by so many Space Age Snacks, I feel like I’m on a mission to try every single amazing treat they have to offer. I’ve had a bunch of their freeze-dried gummies including these brains, but I’ve never had the actual gummy prior to the freeze-drying process. I’d never even seen them before, so when they became available on Amazon I ordered in record time. These did not disappoint! Space Age says these are a generic berry flavor, but I taste raspberry. They are downright fun to eat. The top is kind of a jellied texture, while the bottom is your normal gummy consistency. I present you with both a top and bottom view as well as a cross section.I can never decide whether I want to gnaw the jelly off with my front teeth and enjoy it separately, or perform the same act inside my mouth. It doesn’t matter, because all I need to tell you is that they arrived super fresh and I consumed half of them in one sitting and had to ask my husband to take them away from me. Good thing I have the Space Age gummy skulls coming tomorrow, which I expect to be equally as awesome. And the Space Age gummy assortment hopefully coming a few days later, yum yum. Keep ‘em coming, Space Age.
