I don't get a professional manicure often, but love shellac when I go on vacation. I hate the removal process that uses acetone and also don't want to pay to have it taken off at the salon. My nails are very dry and brittle and the acetone is so harsh. Enter, the Coslus electric nail drill file. This little tool worked like a charm to remove all of the polish. It took me some time, as I'm new gadgets like these. I took my time and experimented with the various tips and speeds. I used one of the heavy duty tips to take off the initial shiny top coat of the shellac and then switched to some of the lighter tips to remove the polish. My nails are clear of polish and not dried out from harsh chemicals. I'm sure the process will become easier each time I use it. This was very easy to use and did have it plugged in during the process as I didn't want to wait for it to charge.

This was quite a helpful tool to have on our road trip. I ordered it at my in-laws after I BADLY broke a nail with overlay and couldn’t simply snip the sharp edges, and a file takes forever. I’m talking I broke this bad boy where the overlay was the thickest. My nails were a bit grown out, like maybe about the time I’d normally go for another appt to see my nail girl, but the timing and distance of the trip didn’t make it possible. And I wasn’t finding nail salons near the rural place we were that’s been able to help with this kind of overall (they all seemed to just do gel polish and basic manicures.) This was easy to use and easy to adjust the speed and direction it spins so that I was able to nicely file down the edges of my broken nail AND I used it to shorten all the others so that I hopefully wouldn’t accidentally break another one off like that. I used again like a week later to gently file off the nail polish I had (I’d watched my girl do it many times and looked up info online too so as what to avoid so I wouldn’t accidentally damage the nail bed itself.) It was great to be able to change out my polish myself on this long trip rather than pay some random new place and hope they don’t screw it up or anything. It was great to be able to just plug it in to the side of my laptop, and the cord is pretty long so I wasn’t worried about the dust getting into the keys or whatever. Super easy to change out the tips and bands too!

This product saved me soooo much time when it came to removing my gel polish. It also helped me take care of my husbands thick nails with ease. He is also very happy as well! This item is also priced extremely well for the quality, other companies want to charge an arm and a leg I swear! I was also able to get a FREE 24 month warranty!? Crazy, love it.

I was skeptical cause of the low pricebut ordered because of the good reviews.It works very well and eas easy to use.It was able to grind my thick toe nailsin no time and I recommend this to anyone.Just note that it needs to be pluggedto a usb for wired power and does nothave batteries.

This is a wonderful little addition to DIY manicures. The hardest part always is removing the old [liquid base/powder dip = solid] “wrap.” Sometimes the wraps will pop or chip off once the edges are all filed, but not always. This little drill substituted long, arduous filing time. Also, my cuticles haven’t looked so good in ages! I even successfully attacked nasty calluses that chronically bother the tops of two toes. Some reviewers want a longer cord, but you can always plug the cord into a tower with its own long cord, or plug your cube into an extension cord!The benefits of this little gem for price are amazing :)

excellent product and excellent customer service! i didn’t even need to contact them, but they send a follow up email to ensure the order was received and working which i really appreciate. i’ve never bought a fancy e-file before but i have bought a $10 one from walmart, and this one is miles better. so that’s good enough for me lol
