Miniml Hand Soap Wash Liquid 1L Refill - Cucumber & Aloe Vera Infused Eco Friendly Hand Washing Liquid Gel for Soft and Sensitive Skin Care - 100% Vegan & Cruelty Free

I have very mixed opinions regarding this Lime, Basil & Mandarin Infused hand soap. Initially, I bought this because I imagined that the fragrance of the lime and mandarin would be more dominant in the mix, giving it a fresh, light and citrus scent, but in reality, the basil is by far the more dominant fragrance in the mix. The fragrance is still very nice, but just not what I imagined. I assumed the fragrance would be a lot more delicate because it's described as "subtle". I find the fragrance to be quite strong but, for context, I should mention that I am mainly used to fragrance free products so maybe the general population may find the fragrance more subtle than I do. The main thing for me is that since using this soap, I have started having dry patches on my hands. This may or may not be related to the soap and there's nothing to say that I wouldn't have developed this anyway as such is the nature of skin conditions. However, I do need to use a hand lotion (or an intensive hand cream at night if I forget) in order to combat this. I do manage to mostly keep on top of this though, so it's not really a big deal, it's just worth me noting that this soap doesn't appear to moisturise my hands enough to not require hand lotion or moisuriser. I guess I will only find out if the soap is the cause when I switch back to another brand of hand wash or fragrance. (I'll try to remember to update the results of that on here.) I should also point out that one of my sons does tend to have sensitive skin on his hands and this soap has not aggravated his sensitive skin at all. My boys really like this hand wash. They asked if Miniml do a shower gel in the same fragrance! We as a family do tend to perceive this fragrance as more masculine than feminine but it doesn't mean that it would be out of place for a woman to smell of it. It lathers really well and does cut through greases and fats that I get on my hands in the kitchen, so it is an effective cleaner too. I bought this when it was on offer at a price of £15.98 which was far more value for money than any other fragrance or brand at the time. If the price of the Cucumber & Aloe Vera hand wash in this range is put on a similar offer, I'll try that and see if my skin suits that one better. I really like the ethos of this small, English company so I intend to keep using it, even if just for my sons.

I honestly only bought this as it was cheaper than my usual go to, but having made that switch I’m going to stick with this one as it really ticks all the boxes for me and the scent is divine! It’s really cucumbery with its scent but not overpoweringly so, just like when you’re chopping a cucumber and you can smell it type thing, it lathers really nicely and I have very sensitive skin and it’s really nice / not a single flare up so win win. It’s more liquidy than my old usual go to, but it’s still a plus as it’s not likely to clog my wall mounted soap dispenser. 5 litres too - this is going to last ages 👍

Great value for money for an eco hand soap. We have eczema in the family so wanted to try this. Smells nice & i like the minimlist packaging. Unfortunately if you use this too much (frequent washing) then (for us) it irritated our eczema (hence one star off). If you are just looking for a regular handwash it is very nice, with a great smell.

First time buying Miniml product and I love the scent. I really love the toxic free ingredients and the fact they use essential oils to fragrance their products. It soos up well enough considering it's all toxic free and natural. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

A lovely soap with a pleasant aroma which stays after rinsing . A good option for sensitive skin too

Lovely smell! I had spent a while looking for a hand soap that didn't contain any detrimental chemicals but also smelt good and worked well. I have not been disapointed in the Minimal Natural Clementine hand wash. You only need a small amount to get a good lather. Leaves hands smelling nice and looking clean without drying out your skin. Also means you don't use as much product so it lasts a good amount of time. I would reccomend.

I prefer Miniml hand soap because it leaves my hands clean but still hydrated. I am prone to dry itchy skin on my hands. Having two dogs I need to wash my hands very frequently so it’s important that the hand soap doesn’t cause further irritation, and, that I can order refills to cut down on waste and cost. Best recommendation is that I keep reordering it.

I switched to this 5L Miniml soap because: - I thought the fragrance (Lime, Basil & Mandarin) would smell nice - I liked the look of the ingredients - nothing looked like it would be too harsh or drying etc - I like using 5L refills as it reduces the amount of single use plastic I use - It was cheaper than the brand I usually buy I do like the scent - though it was more subtle than I was expecting. Unfortunately, my skin reacted badly to the soap. I wouldn't say I have very sensitive skin in general, and I don't need to use specialist sensitive products. But my hands can sometimes get a bit dry, sore, or irritated, especially during cold weather in the winter. After washing my hands a few times with this soap, the skin on the back of my hands became very sore and irritated, with inflamed red blotchy patches. The ingredients listed look good overall so I wonder if it's the essential oils that my skin has a negative reaction to? In the short term, I had to switch to a very gentle soap substitute product for several days to calm my skin back down again and clear up the painful red patches. I have now gone back to my previous brand of hand wash. Although it is more expensive than this Miniml soap, I love the smell of it and - most importantly - my skin doesn't ever react badly to it.. It's a real pity as I had high hopes for this soap and I initially intended to use it as both hand wash and body wash. Unfortunately, it just didn't agree with me.
