you do have to keep telling yourself IGNORE THE PLOTHOLES DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT! and just enjoy John Travolta and Nicholas Cage pantomime daming each other all around the houses. Very enjoyable sci-fi (ish) spy thriller terrorists etc etc..I love Nick Cage he's ace!

One of the best action movies of all time gets the love and attention it deserves in this 4k restoration. Picture quality consistently great throughout, I just saw so many new details in the film. The soundtrack is amazing. Whilst it's only 5.1 it puts nearly all modern atmos action movies tracks to shame. It's astounding. I am UK based so had to order from the US. Lucky for us this is possible as for some reason 4k availability in the UK is extremely limited. Package arrived when it said it would and all was fine. Definitely worth paying a bit more to see this marvel of cinema get a 4k release. Would be great if the same company did more John Woo films. I shall be researching more what other films they have released. Clearly a highly professional restoration company who take their work seriously.

Of only we didn't have to import these. But we do.Face off is one of the greatest action films ever. It's just got an amazing makeover. The hdr is beautiful.The film is perfect action nonsense.If you only import one 4k bluray and you love action films then make it this one.

The 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray disc version of this film has greatly improved sound and picture quality over the standard Blu Ray disc version when played through a 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray player and a 4K ULTRA HD TV with HDR (High Dynamic Range).

Great action movie, Travolta, Cage and Woo were on a roll when this was made.

This is a very good dvd

I remember watching this movie back in the day on VHS. I was on a bit of a John Woo kick back then, watching any and everything he directed. If you get the chance, be sure to check out some of his older flicks he made in Hong Kong, esp The Killer and Hard Boiled. Watching this movie years later, it still holds up. Amazing action (including some of John Woo's trademark tropes he includes in his movies). If you're a fan of Nic Cage, this is one of his more unhinged roles...which probably isn't saying much when talking about him...but ya know what i mean LOL.Amazing audio and video quality. Kino Lorber is up there with Shout! and Criterion for releasing the best quality versions on Blu-ray. If I didn't know the movie came out in 1997, i'd have sworn it was a new release.I recommend this movie to fans of action movies, John Woo movies, and Nicolas Cage movies.

Ottimo, ottimo. Grande prova di Cage e Travolta, che devono interpretare 2 personaggi ciascuno agli antipodi fra loro...Cage strepitoso cme pazzo criminale e intenso come "buono". Idem per Travolta. Trama assolutamente inverosimile, ma è cinema, non è detto che sia un difetto...sceneggiatura, ritmo, regia, attori comprimari eccellenti.

En su epoca pelicula que llamo la atencion, creo que para verla en familia una tarde merece la pena, siempre y cuando no echen nada en la tv
