Grandma's Non-Detergent Laundry Soap, 40 Ounces

I started using the natural laundry soda/soap awhile back & am so glad I did!My clothes are clean smelling now without that almost sour smell they would get with regular laundry stuff from the grocery store. I had been using a coconut oil based product that I liked, but I wanted to try Grandma's out.Loving it!! Grandma's leaves my clothes clean, soft and doesn't irritate my skin at all. My allergies are much improved too.I think my clothes are cleaner with this, and they smell so naturally clean & fresh, that I cant stop burying my face in them for a sniff. I wash primarily on cold, and it rinses out just fine. Happy with this product!UPDATE: Using this laundry soap made my skin less itchy so I decided to try their natural Lye bath soap. Holy Cow! Who knew? No more itching at all now, and skin more moisturized. You might want to try this soap too. Glad I did :) I continue to use the laundry soap...absolutely luv it, and wont use anything else now.

I purchased this to wash sleeping bags, since detergent is a no no. Works great.

This is a very good laundry soap. It gets clothing clean, nothing more. Don't expect them to smell like flowers. Using vinegar as recommended also works. I've been using vinegar to get the stink out of my super smelly work out clothing. It works when nothing else will. From now on it's all that I'll be using.

I don't wash clothes with this product. BUT If you don't want to spray chemicals on your indoor or outdoor plants, this works just as well. I get aphids on my honeysuckle and spider mites on one of my bushes. Instead of using stinky malathion (the stench lasts a long time and it has chemicals in it), I use this detergent mixed with water and then spray it on my plants and bushes. It has the same results as malathion but it's gentil, safe and odorless. Thanks, Grandma. :-)

Seems to work well. The dermatologist suggested that we use this brand to try to alleviate skin rash that my husband is dealing with now. He says he has not noticed a difference. I do like that it dissolves better than the homemade detergent I was using.

I have several family members with sensitive skin/allergies. I use this on all the bedding and bath items when they visit and no problems. It dissolves easily in the wash and I never see a residue.

I had high hopes for this detergent. It didn't work on my cloth diapers they came out still stinky even after I tried more powder different temps of water etc. And before I knew it the laundry detergent was gone in about a month and a half. I wouldn't buy it again although the stain stick freebie was worth it- Grandma's lye soap stain bars are with the money. Got 4 year old blood stains,blue berry stains and red pasta sauce out like it was nothing!

This laundry soap is gentle enough for kids with eczema. I use vinegar as a fabric softener along with this and it keeps my child's clothes clean and soft. Highly recommend for people who cannot use regular detergent.
