Excellent LED flood bulb
I used these to replace 65w incandescent bulbs in our kitchen and playroom. No contest, they're far brighter. In fact, I'd probably go with their 12w or 14w bulbs for areas which don't require as much light such as hallways. Theses made a night and day difference (pardon the pun) in the two rooms. The light is definitely whiter than an incandescent bulb. If you like a yellow caste to your light which an ordinary incandescent bulb provides, these may not be for you but I prefer them by a mile. They're labeled "warm" white but to me they look white. Perhaps even a bit whiter than halogen. They look far better to me than the CFL bulbs I've used. There's no creepy bluish caste at all like the first generation of LED bulbs. These have an additional advantage of having a wide spread. Most commercial PAR30 LED bulbs throw 25 to 40 degrees max. While I can't measure these they do seem to have an even and wide spread vs my few Sylvania bulbs. They do look different on the face of them then halogen or incandescent. You can see the small LED emitters behind the bulb glass. I've never spent much time staring up at light bulbs but these do look different. The light though is just fantastic and the fact that our spacious kitchen is now lit with 80 w is fantastic.By all means, try one of these in one fixture before you plop down a ton of cash but I liked the discount on the 6-pack. I plan on buying more. I'm tempted to even try the cooler white color just to see.I can't comment on the longevity yet and that's supposed to be an important advantage. They should last many years so I'll have to take that on faith.I'll also add that the seller was super responsive when I wrote with questions. I used these to replace Long Neck bulbs. They are just a little shallower than the incandescents but I attribute that to the domed front of the incandescent vs the flat front of these LED's.CREE LED's by the way are at least at the time I write this the best available. They're in the very best flash lights (costing far more than these bulbs).I've tried a few other bulbs in the past. The current crop of Sylvania's which are also nice but a little less bright and a lot more expensive. If they last, I'll be quite satisfied with the purchase (and I expect they will).

Burned out in less than 5 years, but the description says it lasts up to 22.8 years.

Bright quality light .... Used in recessed ceiling cans.
I won't buy anything that doesn't have CREE chips in it (I learned the hard way). I replaced some 100w equiv. CFLs in the kitchen with these and can definitely confirm they're MUCH brighter than a 100watt (I have no 150's to compare). It just barely made the shallow space inside these 1950 canisters. Many others would not fit. I did take out the reflector in the ceiling fixtures since all the light is directed downward anyway and it helped air flow I'm sure. Not much worry though; the fixture's glass plate was barely warm after hours of use. The color temperature is ideal...no tint noticeable and have good color rendition. After about a hundred hours of use I realized that the light has changed the mood of the kitchen. Although much brighter, the light is softer (if that makes any sense). Objects in the kitchen seem to be sharper and newer, or so they appear. Even the pictures on the fridge came alive. If any fail, I'll be BACK. Now if Ideal just had those half-corn style for the bathroom lights. I use two 100w (equiv. CFL now) and would love to have this light quality in there. Again, only if it's CREE will they get a dime from me.

Excellent Lights
I've been using six of these now since January 5, 2012. In the time, these lights have performed flawlessly. Instant on, super bright and the color is great. No lights arrived DOA and all are still functioning perfectly.I purchased these, because I got tired of replacing (several times a year it seemed) lights in my kitchen and hallways (both with high ceilings). I've always been a big fan of flashlights with CREE LEDs, and these lights are typical CREE quality.Excellent build quality and great lighting. Very pleased with this purchase.

Awesome Light bulb
We bought 4 of these for our kitchen 6 months ago. It provides a beautiful welcoming light to the room. Our original lighting use to be dark and dingy, now my wife and I love being in there. Even our cabinets look better than they use to.It's a shame they stopped selling these lights. There are no replacements for wide angle lighting (>90 degrees). I want to buy more for our laundry room. I hope they bring this product back.

The first good enough LED PAR 30
I'm pretty picky about light quality, and these are the first LED PAR 30s that I've been happy with. They aren't quite perfect -- compared to the 75 W halogens that I've been using, these are very slightly dimmer and slightly cooler / more magenta in color cast. But the difference in light quality is very small (I'm the only one in my family who can tell the difference), and the energy savings are amazing.

Very Decent Bulb
Got this one for Basement lighting because of it wide angle ( low ceiling). Works very well, although I'm not too sure about the 1050 lm. Good points: Nice wide angle, good light colour, nice luminosity.Points to watch out for: The body seems a little longer than I thought ( protrudes from my fixtures a bit).Overall very good though !
