Great for plumbing work around wood framing
The media could not be loaded. This is a handy addition to your plumbing kit and serves to protect any wood framing around copper pipes when you need to sweat a connection with a gas torch. It is 1 foot square and already has a slit in it to slip over the pipe and it can be secured with a snap connection. It also has 2 grommets to hang it if needed. This worked as designed when I tested it with my propane torch.

Right fit around 1/2” copper pipe.
The hole is a bit small for even a 1/2 inch copper pipe. May need some work to make your pipe fit. Tested with blow torch and did not ignite. I would still put a piece of insulation behind this but not a bad product for the purpose.

Not totally fireproof
Greet for electric welding but not really fireproof for gas torches. I guess "for the price" it's OK, but I have a huge issue with inexpensive items being non-functional. An inexpensive item may not last long but it's no excuse for it to not be ad advertised and non-functional.
