Victoria TOR-000 6.5" Tortilla press, Black

I love this product, very heavy, functional and well made. It was a bit pricey, but well worth it for an authentic product. Corn tortilla is a staple in my house, and this is used every day. Very quick and easy to get a round tortilla, every time. Tips: cut a zip lock sandwich bag along the sides, place your ball of dough in the middle, do not use the press without it, or your dough will stick. Do not press too hard, after you press, look to see if the size is right for what you are making. I made street taco size, as in the Birria tacos in my photos. But if you press harder, you can get the correct size for enchiladas. After first press, flip tortilla and give a light press to even it, as the side furthest from the handle will be slightly thicker. Get creative with it, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my son-in-law (as suggested by my daughter) and he loved it. We used it last week and it worked really well. Top tip is to place the dough between two sheets of greaseproof / baking paper and hold down for about 7 secs...

Great quality and robust, but the press is very uneven. I think my tortillas come out a quarter inch thicker on one side, requiring me to rotate and repress.
