This product is not something I use regularly; I mainly use this to get really stuck on things off of items mainly in my kitchen; i.e. counters, pans, the sink, etc. I can also see this working very well in a bathroom setting, although that is not something I've personally tried. This stuff is the only stuff that can clean (without damaging) my stainless steel pans and enameled cast iron. I own white enameled cast iron, and this is the only way I've been able to keep them completely white and like new, all without damaging the enamel coating. I mainly avoid harsh chemicals in my home, but this is one of the few I keep coming back to because I haven't found a more "natural" solution that even comes close to working as well as this product.

I read online that you can use barkeeper’s friend in the shower to remove set on soap scum with a drill brush. LET ME TELL YOU, this stuff performs absolute MIRACLES.In my shower there were hard water stains that didn’t come out even with a magic eraser, Comet, bleach, or any of my household cleaners. I even used a scrub daddy and NOTHING. The shower bottom was gross and discolored no matter what product I used and for how long.It took ONE run. Just a SINGLE RUN with this stuff and all the dirt and scum was gone (of course, with the drill brush). Absolute miracle.Smell isn’t harsh. It was easy to use. And it worked pretty fast!

This stuff is magic for cleaning - pots, pans, ceramics, range, tubs, sinks, water spots on shower doors, baked on grease on oven doors. I keep finding new ways to use it!

Unless your too posh or bougie, (you people can move on and not read further), for those of us who actually clean up after ourselves, this stuff gets the stainless steel shiny and the copper polished. And clean!I hate doing dishes, emptying or filling the dishwasher. I hate putting away silverware. Dunno why. But the thing is, if I’m gonna do something I wanna do it to a clean finish.There’s a crapton of laundry waiting to be folded, mail to be opened, and a lawn to mow. I’m gonna ignore all of that because of the satisfaction of using this stuff to scrubby clean my stainless steel sink til it is sparkle magic shiny. With just enough acidic reaction (use gloves), it’s the smell of cleanliness, like bleach! (Don’t mix this product with bleach)I wouldn’t use this on dishes, but on cookware or cooking sheets, this stuff will get you some impressive results where that chore boy is only gonna make you bust another nail. (Guys probably more so. We just don’t know how to take care of our nails)
