This is the second weighted blanket purchased from the same location with the first for my teenage daughter and this one for my 20 year old son. The purchases occurred a year apart and I am happy to say the quality of the product has consistently met expectations. The blanket helped both sleep more soundly and does not cause them to become too warm in the summer which was an initial concern. The weight is evenly distributed and although my daughter has had the blanket for over a year still maintains the even weight distribution. Overall a good product for those people searching for a weighted blanket.

I am so pleased with this blanket! It’s like a sleeping, being hugged all over! It helps my hip pain and anxiety and really helps me sleep more deeply. It’s not “glass beads” it’s just filled with sand. You’re buying an expensive sandbag. But it’s sewn well, and the sand is well distributed with other fill, and this blanket is much more affordable than others. It’s worth it. However, as others have said, definitely buy the duvet cover with it. Because it does leak a bit.

There really isn't anything wrong with the blanket (so far anyway). I would probably have to come back and review it 6 months later to be able to say conclusively if there was any real problems. I had heard everyone rave about weighted blankets as a way to increase the quality of sleep. I'm a very light sleeper and tend to wake up several times during the night so I thought maybe this might help. For me, it didn't help much, if at all. I'm sure the blanket DOES help for some people though... Just not me.It does remind me of being a kid and having grandma's quilts fluffed up on top of the bed as I slept, but aside from that, it wasn't really helpful for keeping me asleep. I'm still giving this 4 stars because it's a decent blanket. The weights are kinda like a bunch of little sandbags sewn into the lining, and yet it does stay somewhat cool at night so it lives up to the name of a "cooling blanket" enough for me. I just wish there was a way to test drive one of these so I could see it was "nice but not more than $50 nice".So in conclusion: if you are one of those people who need that extra "snuggle" feeling to get better sleep, I'm sure this will do what you expect it to do. For me, I'm rather used to feeling more free, by the middle of the night I've probably flipped over enough times for the blanket to be off my bed. I'm still getting used to it I guess.

this product is mostly aimed towards people who have anxiety and I gave this to my daughter who had slept at friends house and she loved it. She said she has never felt so very rested and felt so peaceful when she awakens as she has with this "blanket". I must admit I did not fully understand this weighted blanket.....she made us sit on the sofa and she covered us with the blanket and we all instantly exhaled. What is this magic? This product has made her very happy and I must say it was worth the money spent. VERY durable!!!!

The product does make a difference in my sleep. I went from restless nights to full nights of sleep without waking up. It does get a bit hot but I get hot from everything so I would say it depends on the person. I would recommend to get a duvet cover on it as with the weight it seems to be a pain to wash. I highly suggest it for people that are not sleeping well.

Absolutely life changing!! I’ve never fallen asleep so quickly, and stayed asleep through the night! It’s breathable, inexpensive, soft, and very durable. I’ll definitely be buying strictly from this seller for future weighted products! This has completely blown me away!

My husband and I usually take turns getting up at night to go to watch tv or read... terrible sleepers with busy brains. Since we started using this blanket we both fall asleep IMMEDIATELY and stay asleep all night! We have the 20 lb and share it long ways across us in bed.We didn’t buy a cover for it, might in the future but this is perfect for us!

Poor quality. Stitching is obviously done badly. Doesn’t appear anywhere near as nice as picture. How anyone thinks this is a decent product is beyond me. What should have alerted me to the possibility that this is gonna be another cheap, low quality Amazon purchase (numerous grammatical errors) on the website was doubled down upon in their brochure (included for free) by this company with such gems as “...please Contact us” and “Keep a weighted blanket cover and less worry about your dirty”. I kid you not, that was a complete sentence. I won’t even get into their “Follow our Facebook” (now I lie) which entices the customer with multiple benefits such as, “Join in the free order’s activity” (are they claiming the order is a “person” like a corporation) and “Get worth of Free Coupons”. Wow the benefits astound me. So much so I thought I would share my honest opinion with everyone. So I’m sending back the miss-stitched, $10 blanket they charged me $180 for cause I don’t want their “Nice dream every night”. Gives me the creeps. As a side note, it also looks like I wasn’t the first customer who rejected this pile of waste.
