Expandable Flex Garden Hose 50 Foot | Strong No Kink Expanding for Home, Garden, Auto, Boat, Etc.

After less than a month of use, this hose broke. The hose "popped" this morning! I turned the water on and the hose right near the nozzle made a loud popping sound and the hose fell to the ground while I was left holding the nozzle only. Upon closer inspection, the rubber in the hose split. I didn't keep the water on, it was always turned off when the hose isn't in use so the rubber wasn't constantly under pressure. If this hose didn't break, I'd have great things to say, it does pack up very small and takes up next to no room. There's no shortage of expandable hoses on amazon so I'll be trying a different one!

My third purchase. They last about 5 months. I tried traditional industrial grade hose and some other high end expandable hoses. But they're all the same. Their usage is short term. I have concrete backyard with large flower containers plus I'm very careful with my hoses. I don't have high water pressure and I always drain the water out. The last one I just got, the nozzle just fell off. I'm returning it for an exchange. I like them because they're so easy to use. The only down side is they're easily damaged.

I bought this on a whim after being frustrated by shelling out good money for coiling hoses have only been lasting a year before developing leaks. I didn't really expect this to work, but for the price thought, why not. And it does actually work as advertised. It remains to be seen if it outlive my other hoses, but so far works well for watering plants, washing the patio or outside furniture, and washing the car. Plus everyone gets a kick out of watching it expand and contract.

These things are becoming so popular now with people getting tired of lugging 50' of hard vinyl around the yard. There are so many cheap versions of these, I thought this wouldn't last a week at this price. I was wrong. The hose itself is very light when not being used and seems sturdy when filled with water. The plastic sprayer and connections are a bit cheap feeling but the hose seems solid. I even drove over this hose with my truck a few times when I was too lazy to get out and move it and it survived fine. We've had this hose for several months and sadly, our gardener finally proved it is not indestructible by hitting it with his gas powered line trimmer at the base, where the hose connects to the spigot. It broke the actual hose inside the green fabric, so when I turn the water on, it just sprays through the fabric. Not a the products fault, but it is a bit more fragile than a traditional hose.

This hose is unique in the sense that it will expand to the desired Hose Length, in my case 50ft. While it does what it says, it breaks easily. I ended up returning my hose before the expiration of my 30 days at Amazon. I went to my in-laws house and they had the same exact hose, the hose expanded and burst, ripping one end open. At this point the hose was rendered useless and inoperable. The product is poorly made and it will not last. You will probably get a good 30 days worth and I am certain it will break shortly thereafter.

I am very sad to write this review. I order this hose in January for myself from a gift card I got from my sister for Christmas, so I would have it for gardening time in the spring. I just started using it a few days ago. I loved it because is was so easy to store. AFTER only 3 days of use, the hose split along the seam in the middle of the hose about a 2 foot length, I was devastated! It was awesome until it broke. Soooo SAD and disappointed!

First, I didn't expect this to last long. I just flat out like the convenience of the hose and not having to mess with winding the normal weight ones after watering things.Lasted about 8 weeks til it burst.One of those things to keep in mind. I buy them when they drop in price... knowing... they won't last.

I just had new landscaping installed, which requires daily watering, and dragging the old hose around was a pain. I ordered this hose for the second tap on the other side of my house, and was so impressed with it, just ordered a second one to replace my original traditional hose. It is lightweight and easy to use, and takes less than a minute to put away after use. The sprayer is small and easy to use. Overall, an excellent product!
