Oh wow, I’ve been fish keeping for years and this is by far the best syphon I’ve used, love this and so glad I found it!Ps: If you can’t get it going, YouTube has a lot of helpful videos on how to use syphon in fish tanks!

I was really EXCITED to use this & so I put the gravel vacuum pump together like I was suppose to & I tried for like🫡 45 mins to get this things to start pumping the dirtly water out of my lil 5 gal tank & squeezing that ball did absolutely nothing except add air to the tube. I'd get all the air out of the tube the hard way and then squeeze the ball & BAM more air😤. So FRUSTRATING ughhh. I watched every video I could find & had other people in my house try to use it & nothing. Oh & the little knob that is supposed to adjuste the flow , yeah that was useless because it just spins & spins in both directions forever😡, cuz I tried adjusting that while trying to get it to start sucking & nothing worked. Idk if I got one that was broke , but I do know more than just myself REALLY tried very hard to get this to work but to no avail did we succeed.😔 If it had worked it would been great cuz it was pretty good quality as far as the construction of the materials, but if only that quality made the product function as it was suppose to.

Very strong suction! Gets the job done! I like how you can change the speed of the suction, especially for different sized tanks! I also like how it comes with different attachment to really get in there! It works equally great on my 10 gallon and 5 gallon fish tank!

I like the function of this vacuum, but the hose is shorter and wider than I would like. I also wish there was more of a hose after the squeeze pump. It barely reaches my bucket and hops out when I move the vacuum around the tank, spraying water all over. Have to hold one end in the bucket while simultaneously moving things around and vacuuming with the other. I'm sure this would work well for someone trying to empty their tank, but I wanted to use it for daily/weekly cleaning of my axolotl tank. The volume of water that moves through the hose means that I have to replace at least 2 gallons of water every time I clean. You can control the flow, but then the suction weakens.

Love! Easy to use and assemble. I wasn’t expecting much with the price but so far it’s a 10/10 for me!
