This 40 cu ft bag is awesome. We was able to fit 2 adults and 6 kids suitcases packed for a 5 day trip, 3 extra bags, a big ring light in a case and a 3 step stepladder in this bag and probably could have fit a little more if needed. We drove 2 hours in the rain on our way home and everything was 100% dry! I let it dry and folded it back up and put it in the storage bag for next time we need it. 2 adults and 6 kids stuffed in a 2015 Tahoe and all our stuff on top and all our food and drinks on a hitch carrier on the back. 3 ratchet straps held it firmly down.

I needed to move a lot of items, in a small car without a roof rack, during a hurricane. I ordered this, and I was amazed at how easy it was to set up and how solid the materials are. I assumed that in the rains from the outer portions of the hurricane that I was driving around would seep into the bag and get my items wet but, to my surprise, they all stayed dry and safe on the roof, even with pouring rains and wet roads. Even on a small car, this bag fit easily on the roof. I didn't need a roof rack and the bag didn't shift, flap or make noise on the roof. This product allowed me to at least triple the cargo capacity of the smaller car I was driving without impacting any of the comfort or drivability of the car, even in storm conditions.

The bag looks very nice and LOOKS durable. This bag ripped in multiple spots during my cross country move, allowing rain into the bag, ruining my belongings. These rips were not caused by any of my items, they were all rounded or cloth items. The straps also make is so water can get into your vehicle so I have severe water damage in my van from them. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, IT IS ABSOLUTE CRAP

This is huge! It will fit 6 carry on bags. Six on the bottom and six on top of that. Tons of room. It’s definitely waterproof. I got caught in a rain storm, but everything came out dry. I drove 1100 miles and this monster stayed put on top of my truck. Only thing is, don’t think you’re going to be able to fold it back up and put it nicely in the bag it came in like it came. I folded back as best as i could, stuffed it in a tote (still didn’t fit) so I stood on it while it was still in the tote and squished it to make sure it fit. So make sure you have a tote just for this big boy.

made a 1,200-mile trip. By the time I got to the hotel to rest, about 580 miles into the trip, it was already broken. I couldn't stand the wind on this short trip. I had to plug the holes with duct tape. But I got a big surprise when I arrived at my final destination. The TV was wet and covered in dirt. This product looks great, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. Personally, I don't recommend it for long trips; the material doesn't hold up well to inclement weather. It was a shame to have bought this product and then, after just one trip, be on the verge of throwing it away. It was a waste of money. I don't recommend it. I had a very bad and unpleasant experience.

I used this cargo bag on a long road trip and was impressed by how much it could hold — 40 cubic feet is no joke! It fit several suitcases, duffel bags, and camping gear with room to spare. The material feels tough and handled rain and wind without any leaks, which gave me peace of mind. Installation was fairly simple, and the soft-shell design made it easy to fold and store when not in use. However, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the included straps felt a little flimsy under heavy load. I ended up using extra ratchet straps just to be safe. Overall, this is a great value for the size and weatherproof protection it offers. With slightly stronger straps, it would be perfect!

The container itself might be waterproof. However when it rains, a lot of water will come into your car on and around the straps that secure the container.

Hello, I bought this product in order to have more space in my SUV when on camping trips . It's a tough material and has cover for zipper if it rains. Make sure to fold it down all around. I learned the hard way. Then I left a negetive review but it has been great since 1st week. After, a representative of the small business reached out to me multiple times and I didn't see the messages for long time. Not only did they give me a phone number to reach out too to fix any issues but they also offered to replace it. For a small american business it's truly impressive now a days that they put their customers/clients 1st. I kept the 1st one as it works great but will definitely be a returning customer. Side note: I kept up while driving uber and the riders kept asking if I was a serial killer with bodies of bad riders in the bag. A cop even ran my playes . So if there's a way to make more beach friendly or color variety, that would be nice. I'm still returning.

I finally got to take it out for a test. I like that the zippers are well made. Waterproof at 110 km/h in high winds and light rain. The main shell is rubberised fabric. Everything was bone dry. Lots of room. I like the non slip foam it prevents scratches but also prevents slipping. It kind of looks like a body bag, not going to lie, but it gets the stuff you need where you need it. The door clips should have a rubber pads to prevent scratching the paint. You should take time to even out the load to prevent shifting on longer trips, or it is best in a basket type carrier. Easy to use, hopefully lasts, I will update if anything changes.
