The noises are so soothing for mama and baby! This was a big issue when trying to find soothing toys. As my husband describes it, it sounds like soft Disneyland-esque music they play in the background. Helps our little one fall asleep and doesn’t drive us to the brink of sanity.

This is our second one. It is a VITAL part of his sleep as it is effective at helping self sooth. After 6 months old I’ve only had to go in a handful of times!

So, this toy is great for music - it will keep playing different songs for an extended period of time - but the lights are hugely underwhelming. It slowly switches between red and orange (you almost can’t tell the difference if you aren’t actually watching it change). Maybe my daughter will enjoy it more when she’s older, but for now, I wish I’d purchased something else.

This toy is loud and there is no volume control. I put a folded peice of cotton over the speaker and secure it with a peice of gorilla tape. Soften the sound enough to be useful, and the baby enjoys the music and colors.

I’m not sure if mine is defective, but it doesn’t work. I put the batteries in, followed directions. I am bummed and have to send it back now. It’s adorable though.
