Great design and brightness
The media could not be loaded. I got axolotl C (the one with the game controller). I love the design and the colors! It's a decent level of brightness in a dark room.I took off a star because the remote is a somewhat unresponsive, so changing modes/colors is a little difficult.

Pretty cool looking
No complaints, you can roll the glass globe to your tastes for some cool ambient night light. The remote can turn it off, but it will turn back on unless you hit the actual switch on the power cable. Not even a real problem, just probably a "read the manual" advice.

Cool elephant crystal ball light
My Mom really likes elephants and I just knew this elphant crystal ball lamp would be perfect for her. Has nice wooden base. The crystal ball is clear with the elephant picture engraved within. Able to be dimmed and brightened. Powered via USB-A, you just have to provide your own charging block. Able to change light colors and be controlled by the button on the USB connector or by the remote. Really cool looking and a really good value!

Storage box arrived destroyed
While item appears to work, the decorative storage box it arrived in was completely destroyed.

Exquisitely detailed and really cool, a bit of HF noise with some USB chargers
The media could not be loaded. Apparently the technology to print inside glass is called a "bubblegram" (Mongo like bubbles!). Whatever it's called, I really like the effect. It's highly detailed, and the galaxy I picked is well rendered and beautiful. It's reminiscent of some antique glass paperweights, if you've ever seen those, except at much, much higher resolution. The bubblegram image is clearly visible in a lit room (first pic). The brightness is adjustable so you can turn it down to where the light spot on the ceiling (last pic) isn't too bright. There's the standard card-shaped lighting controller that lets you pick among a fixed set of colors, adjust brightness, or choose among four fade modes (the "strobe" mode is actually a slow color change). You have to aim the remote at the ball itself to hit the receiver, but it does work reliably if you do that. It's worth noting that because the glass is lit from beneath, any fingerprints will show very clearly. Handle it with a cloth or paper towel, or wipe it clean with rubbing alcohol to remove any surface marks. It's USB powered, and the cord could be longer, but it's not so short as to be useless. There's a built-in cord switch that will turn it on and off, but for all other functions, you'll use the remote. About the only problem I noticed with it is that, with some USB chargers, there's some very high pitched noise (and I mean truly high pitched, well above 10kHz) coming from the charger. This is likely from HF noise from the LED power supply being backfed into the charger switching power supply due to inadequate filtration. If you're good with electronics tinkering, you could fix it with a choke or a capacitor, maybe even a ferrite bead, but it's easier to pick another charger until you find a quiet one. Most adults will probably never hear this noise; I am unfortunately cursed with ears that can still hear those higher frequencies even in middle age (seriously, body, why? I'm not going to a mosquito concert any time soon). Kids tend to have exceptional high frequency hearing, so if they say it's noisy, just try a different charger, or use a USB extension cord to locate it further away. All in all I think this is really quite pretty, and the one real problem with is fixed if you use a good quality charger. So I'm rating it 5/5 stars and going to put this on my nightstand.
