The mount is nice, you can place it on the dash or vents, you can adjust, and leave it movable or tighten it to a specific position. The magnet is strong so the phone doesn't fall when going off-road or driving on the southern California terrible roads (too many potholes). This car mount is a Qi mount with magnets. While it may not be a fully certified MagSafe charger, I finally made it work well (fast charging) with a 67W charger, and a 60W-graded cable. Interestingly, with a 167.5W charger didn't work. This is an updated review to 5 stars because I like the mount, it works now, and the seller offered a full refund, which I am not going to need. If you like the mount and it doesn't work for you, try a different charger and/or cable setup (USB-C PD cables have chips to allow for proper current negotiation, so it does need to be an appropriate grade cable).

This ESR Qi2 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger truly impressed me. The magnet is extremely strong and holds my phone securely, even over bumps and turns. The charging performance is excellent — fast, reliable, and perfectly aligned every time thanks to the MagSafe design. Installation was simple, and the mount feels sturdy whether on the vent or dash. I’ve tried several car mount chargers over the years, and this one is by far one of the best. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality, dependable MagSafe car charger.

This car mount is really nice and the build quality is super snazzy. The magnets are POWERFUL! The mount has two methods for attachment: the temporary one clips securely to an air vent, and the more permanent one is to use a 3M mounting strip to attach to the dash. For the air vent option, it is a little obstructing of the air vent, but in the Texas summer heat, it’s not a bad thing to have cold air blowing on a charging phone since that’s when the tend to overheat. A little worried about that option for winter though, because you shouldn’t really have hot air blowing on it, so I’d have to completely turn off that vent making it useless except to hold my phone. For the mounting version, I haven’t tried this out yet because I don’t know how my wife feels about making that permanent decision to attach something to her car (that we share, but I always drive for us). And it looks like you can only attach to a mostly horizontal surface instead of a vertical one because of the shape of the mount base. It will otherwise only allow you to tilt in three directions instead of four the way it is designed. I don’t know about having a phone obscuring the windshield… The supplied cord is nice, black rubbery, no frills, seems solid. Has a Velcro wrap on it that you can fully remove or replace on the cord if desired. The magnet (MagSafe compatible)! OMG! It is power and it hits me deep how satisfying the plop of the phone is hitting the mount (with MagSafe compatible case [using ESR one at the moment]). I don’t always use it to charge because my car has Apply CarPlay and it has to plug in for me to use it for music and navigation and such, but it’s great to just use to hold my phone available, but not floating around trying to remember where I tucked it or where it ran off to while I’m driving. Qi2, so it’s fast and reliable to charge. Overall, this is a good buy.

Works well for Pixel 10. Using the vent mount and the only thing I find is a slight motion/vibration. Vent holder is strong and the support mount holds it in place. Value for the money and works great with Pixel 10.

By and large, the fit and finish of the mount is far better than a lot of other solutions for mounting a phone in a car. It's squeak and rattle-free, magsafe does a great job of holding the phone in place, and it charges without any fuss. However, on mine, the adhesive pad has failed after just under 5 months of use. The reason I bought this mount in particular was I'd found a spot where it would have the phone hang away from the centre air vents and not block them, but just high enough that the phone would catch a little airflow to keep it cool while charging. The resulting position placed the phone more or less dead level with the stock head unit, which seemed like a great place for a carplay-on-a-budget arrangement. However, a couple of weeks ago, the adhesive pad started to peel away from the mount, and it finally failed completely this afternoon. The *really* annoying part is that it came unstuck on the side that ESR handled - the pad is still stuck to the dash, and the mount has come away leaving the pad in place. I don't know if this is a temperature-related thing. Round these parts (Honolulu) car interiors obviously get warm. However, I would have thought that an accessory intended for mounting inside a car would take that into account. I'll be chasing this up with ESR, as it's definitely not on.

Charger itself is good, no issues there aside from overheating. But it’s wireless charging and I live in Florida so that’s expected. Qi2 speeds work on my iPhone 13 Pro. I wish I could disable the blue LED, or that it was at least white so it didn’t clash with the interior. The magnet holds strong, my phone has never fallen off. One improvement could be a bigger rubber lip on the circular part of the charge so it’s more gentle as the phone connects. My main problem is the stand. It is adjustable, but the rotating base has ratchet points as you rotate, but these are very loose when the phone is on the charger. So on a single ratchet point it has a lot more freedom than it should, making it hard to keep your phone angled straight and level. Also the adhesive does loosen over time holding the weight of the phone, I have to push it back onto my trim every now and then. Overall, I wish they improved the stand or just went with the traditional design.

First of all, let me say out of transparency that the charger did not work properly for me. For whatever reason (that might be related to the charger itself or to my car plug), it kept the battery at the same level but did not charge more. This is an USB-C charger and needs an USB-C plug. Keep that in mind if you have an older car, you might need an adapter (which is cheap and easily found on Amazon). That was my case and I assume it works way better if you have the right plug in the car already (seems most reviews says it works like a charm). That being said - the product itself is very sturdy and the quality is great. It was very well packaged, and the materials seem very high quality. The suction works amazingly - as long as you remember to use your phone bare, or with a Magsafe case (which I have bought separately, and it works like a charm). I drive a lot on New York roads which are mostly incredibly bumpy, the phone never fell. The charging thing was obviously an issue for me, but their customer support is TERRIFIC. They responded promptly via WhatsApp and promptly offered refund / exchange for what could have been a defective product or an unrelated issue. No question - they are here to help and were truly amazing. If you are not 100% sure, at least you know that you have literally 0 risk if it does not work properly for your configuration. Again, the charging did not work for me, but I would recommend them 100%. I ended up charging through a separate cable - the support itself even without wireless charging is probably worth the price anyway! And considering the numerous reviews where it works, I believe it might as well just be due to my car not having a USB-C plug...
