Quick and easy installation, good performance
I installed these about 6 months ago on my wife's Santa Fe, and so far they work perfectly. If anything they are a little too stiff for her as it takes her a little extra effort to pull the hatch lid down. But they certainly raise the lid easily and hold it in place with no slippage, which was the main objective. I have replaced a couple of other support struts in the past and don't recall them being this simple. The installation took maybe 15 minutes total and couldn't have been easier. The price was great and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Works great
Very easy to install and works better than original. Installed on 2008 Sante Fe and original finally went. Last year or two didn't hold up to highest level but went to new one held high above so not hitting head now lol. Simple to install just use thin screwdriver to pop out retaining ring and new arm just pops on. Price was quite reasonable.

Good fit at an affordable price
Very good fit, easy to install. Only reason I won't give 5 stars is because it's a little hard to close the door than it used to be with the original part.

Arana Liftgate struts for 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
Very easy to install. The only thing I noticed is these allow the lift gate to open just a bit higher than the original ones. That's nice when loading, but it is now appreciably harder to reach the lift gate and pull it down to close it. I'm hoping with time the struts will be easier to pull down so I don't have to start weight lifting to manage it! Overall easy to install and well constructed. No brainer installation instructions. All you need is a screw driver and someone to hold the lift gate up while you replace the struts. Took me about 5 minutes.

The right strut for the right price.
These are a snap to replace literally. The price is right and they work great! They have been in for a week now. They are doing the job. That hatch weighs a ton without the lift supports.

Great struts so far
Love these on our 2008 Santa Fe. Yes it makes the hatch a bit harder to close, but it's well worth it to not worry about the hatch falling on my wife's head while she's trying to load groceries. Hopefully they will hold up over time, but so far they're great.

work but are too strong
Six months ago I ordered these for my wife's Santa Fe. They worked fine except that she struggled to shut the hatch. I just replaced them with strongarm struts from lift support depot for "With Out Premium Sound Package" She is thrilled that she can shut the hatch, and I don't have to buy a new car. If you are a small person, don't buy these. They are way too strong.

Good for the Money, But…..
Very good price. I have two cars. I installed these last year on my 2010 Santa Fe and they worked great even through the winter. This time I installed them on my 2007 Santa Fe and they were a little bit finicky to get on. One side has a loud creaking sound and vibration when starting to close the rear hatch. I am hoping this goes away with time. I am not sure how to contact the manufacturer but will try to find their email. I might be able to give an update later.

Better than the originals
They fit perfectly. Very easy to install. Work better than the originals ever did and cost about 1/5 the price my local Hyundai dealer would have charged me.

Great struts, but be careful when installing. See instructions.
The struts were of excellent quality, and were installed on my 2008 Hyundai Sante Fe,. It only took 10 minutes.Installing Arana Gas Struts (** = additional info added by me)1. Use safety stands whenever a procedure requires you under the vehicle or supports. For the best and easiest results have someone hold the device open for you. ( ** I used a piece of 1 x 10 board and safely wedged it in place to keep the hatch open, as I didn’t have a second person).2. Before removing the old lift support, inspect the end connections, compare them to the units on your vehicle to make sure that they are the same as well as the extended length.3. Remove the old support from the vehicle by placing a small flat-headed screwdriver under the U shaped band on the ends of the support. Slowly turn the screwdriver and it will lift up on the band approx 1/8", then pull the support away from the vehicle and it will release.4. To install the new supports do the same procedure in reverse. DO NOT jam the new support end over the ball socket without lifting the U band slightly or damage may occur.5. Supports need to be installed fully extended. In most cases, you just can't compress them unless they are on the vehicle. Never force support.6. If the ends are not lining up the support may need to be turned. To do this attach the shaft end of the support to the vehicle and then turn the entire body of the support clockwise until the ends line up.** Any time you remove your “safety stand” (or board, in my case) and only have a single strut installed, new or old, it will NOT keep the hatch open, so be careful !** I take no responsibility for injuries or damage if you follow my instructions.
