Work poorly. You can't tell when they need to be refilled. There is no window down the side of them and they are too deep to check water level with your finger.

When I first arrived in Germany in the early 90s, the barracks all used water radiators for heaters (most buildings in Germany do).My room at reception was freezing in spite of the radiator being turned on full blast. Reception NCO told me to buy some hanging water canisters similar to these so I did during chow and put them over my radiator heater. But the time I got back to my barracks after COB my room felt likea jungle, hot and humid. It was great.These are the best water canisters Ive ever used. and they look nice.

I really wanted these to work but I compared them to the pie tins I set on top of the radiators and I refilled the pie tins 3 times and still did not need to refill these. I moved them several times thinking that maybe there was a sweet spot but I have not found it. They just do not have the surface area and do not get hot enough to really impact the humidity in the room. But they do look a lot nicer than the pie tins.

These are easy to set up and makes a room much warmer

They took forever to get delivered When they did arrive, one of them did not have a hole to place the hook.Pretty disappointing

If you have radiators, you will love these. I recommend buying enough to hang one between every vane of the radiator. I bought 8 and intend to buy as many as I can fit on my radiators
