Holding up good so far
Key to success is taking the time to do each step properly. Cleaning is the first step to this. I used electrolysis to pop off an old coating that had failed. Basically using industrial baking soda and water with a 5A DC charger. I filled the tank with the solution and hung the anode inside making sure to not ground it out. It took time but worked flawlessly without causing any harm to the outside paint. It also removes the rust. The final step of coating needs proper planning and prep to protect any threaded areas or areas not to be coated. Taking the time to roll and tumble the tank to insure complete coating of the inside and making sure to clear any ports or tubes before curing is the final step to success.

Good product
I followed the directions exactly, but at the very end.I took the fuel cap off and I got the stuff in the fuel cap threads so it works great. You just really have to pay attention to details unlike me. I can kind of get the gas cap on.But I really need to chase the threads and get that stuff out of there , but It seals beautifully.Does exactly what they say it does.

Quality kit
To save some money (~$35), I ordered this kit to do two smaller 5gal motorcycle tanks instead of ordering two smaller kits. -There is enough industrial cleaner to make several gallons, no need to waste all of it using full strength. I have used the diluted cleaner on several other projects now, and it is very potent stuff- wear some gloves and be careful what you splash it on. -There is enough of the BLAST to do do both tanks... One tank was more rusted than the other and splitting it did not have enough power to get the job done. I ended up dumping the rest in to help, then reusing the whole quart in the second tank. I don't think 1q is enough liquid to do a 12 gallon tank though, it's just not enough to go around. -The sealer is fantastic. It goes on easy and has a fairly long work time to get the tank coated. It also tends to spread out and smooth out, helping cover hard to reach spots. Splitting the sealer into two tanks was a tough job, and I do not recommend it unless you have an individual to work each tank at the same time. It is, however, totally possible. Follow the instructions on getting the extra out of the tank- uncover a drain hole and let it out. It is a LOT of work trying to get it to dry smoothly without puddling if you have too much in the tank.

Worked WONDERS on my C70 & CT90(+spare) tanks!
Bought the large kit to do a 1981 Honda Passport C70 and a 1972 CT90 tank plus the spare fuel tank on the side. Followed the directions, took my time and didn't have a problems. Used BBs cuz they were handy, would get a length of chain for hanging lights if I had to do it again. Shake shake shake on the steps that call for it. Roll when instructed. The tanks turned out better than expected and if I EVER need to seal another tank I'll be getting more KBS. The instruction sheet has 2 sides, just read through the whole thing and get your supplies and consumables and set aside the required time to do it right. On a restoration project like I'm doing it all starts at the fuel tank. edit: adding a pic of before cleaning and treating for reference.

Take your time.
I did a 7gal generator gas tank. It was pretty rusty inside, I put a handful of half inch nuts and bolts in the tank and drove around with it in the bed of my truck for two weeks. Get rubber plugs off Amazon to be able to plug everything. I also used an extendable magnet to clean out the tank further once it was dry prior to painting, helped get the last bits of junk out. Sealer worked great for me, tank is back on the generator and working great.

Easy to work with.
2003 Road King. Was plenty enough to line my tank. All I can say is if you think your tank is clean enough. Rinse it again and again after that. I found a dime size flake after coating the inside. Luckily enough I was able to remove it before the line started to set. Also after draining excess liner. I took the supplied brush on taped it on a long screw driver. Trying to get out any extra that puddled in the corner of my tank. Even after what I thought was enough. Their was still some that ran a little. Over all happy that it covered the entire tank.

Saved my 45 yr old jet boat gas tank
Couldn't find the oem gas tank outta my 1969 Las Vegas jet boat. Took a risk on this kit, Worked AWESOME. Fixed the rusted spots inside, now I just let chill for 4 days, then refill. Awesome product. Totally recommend this to anyone trying to salvage a bad tank. Just follow instructions. Keep rolling the liquid till it fully dries. I couldn't empty the excess out, so I kept rolling it over an hour, no bubbles or any issues. Just use common sense and you'll be good. KBS coatings ROCK!
