These are awesome. I got the combo which gets you the big and the little both for the price of one. Both sizes are excellent, and both have their uses. If I want to use the big one to tear down the gun but let the spring tension off to clean the spring after removal, the little one would be easier to recompress the spring to get it back into the gun. The only problem with the little one is it doesn't line up the slide release pin, but that's not a huge deal. These tools make taking down the Ultra Carry pistols easy.

I may become enamored of this tool, but not yet. I want to start by saying I've only used it once. That once was an epic failure. Before I did anything I watched the manufacturer's YouTube instructional video - 3 times, then went back to the video a couple times while using. I used the tool on a Kimber Ultra Carry II. Proper instructions and correct gun for the tool's use. I chose to use the longer of the two tools included because it looked, in the video, to be the easier for disassembling the pistol. The tool went on the guide rod easily enough and it was very easy to disassemble the pistol. My "epic fail" happened when I tried to put the slide back on the frame. Somehow the tool fell off the guide rod, resulting in my having to reassemble the whole thing without assistance of any tool. I now have multiple cuts and bruises on both hands. I have no idea how I messed up this process. It required no effort on my part, and was not even an issue I anticipated. But somehow it's always the user, right? I'm not sure at this point whether I'll try this again or go back to the Kimber bent wire tool.

Very easy to use and makes breaking down my Kimber .45 ACP a whole lot easier.
