Minced Pate/Predominately Seafood--Just What My Cats Like
I'm going to stop rating five stars for canned food--not because there's anything wrong with the food, but as soon as I do, it seems the cats change their minds. Maybe there is no food they love! This one is definitely a keeper--the cats do like it for now. I have learned to order four or five varieties at one time from Amazon. When the food arrives, I open and reorganize the trays so that each row is different from the previous--my cats get variety, and my family doesn't have to wonder which tray to pull from.My cats prefer seafood flavors so that's what I normally buy (yes, I realize there's usually a bit of chicken, etc. in there). For some reason, the cats don't like the flavors that are predominantly chicken or beef or have lots of vegetables. I've learned to stay away from foods that look "good enough to eat" and stay with the plain ground pate. I do buy grain free in the hopes that will keep their diets healthy and vet bills down. So far, cats are healthy, have good coats, and no stool issues. Happy cats is a happy wallet!

Cat tested, fur baby mom approved!
After adopting my two cats (age 9), it was a challenge to find good food that they liked and could eat. One came to us on a limited-ingredient diet due to a skin condition, but didn't like the food. The other was just a little picky. We tried it out and figured out the one cat just needed grain-free food, which opened up the food choices a lot for us.Cue going to the store and buying one of every grain-free food in the store. To be honest, I had passed on this food at first because of the Purina (I admit, I'm a cat food snob). However, I did research, and found that the Muse brand is healthy for my cats, without any dangerous ingredients, so I got the whitefish and the chicken to try. And boy, are my cats happy I did! Out of all the foods, this is the only brand that they eat completely in one sitting. It's got just the right amount of gravy. And, it's so easy to pop out of the can. Definitely getting mush more of this, and whatever other flavors I can!

Good food with poor quality control
We switched to Muse pate a little over a year ago after feeding Wellness grain-free for many years. Both of our cats love Muse and devour both the wet and dry foods. However, in the past couple of months, we've found the quality control to be hit or miss. We'll open a can and both cats will absolutely refuse to touch it--yet open a different can from a different case, and they'll go right for it. One of our cats can be a bit picky at times, but the other will always eat if he's hungry, even if it's not his "preferred" food or flavor. So to have him refuse to eat the Muse is a major red flag that something is actually wrong with the product. It's disappointing and frustrating, because if you buy an entire sealed 24-pack and one can has this issue, all of the cans will have it--and they cannot be returned. Before we started running into this problem, Muse would have received 5-stars from us and our cats. But since this seems to be happening more and more frequently, we'll likely have to find another type of food to try and give up on Muse as opposed to throwing money away on cans the cats won't touch.

Cats love the taste
My cat loved it unfortunately, it did not mix well with his sensitive stomach. He started vomiting again while on this food. So I had to switch back to his old food. However, he loved the taste and did eat it all up. I ended up giving it to some other cats I know and all of them loved it as well and digested it properly. So in all it seems like great food. I would only give a word of caution to those with cats that have sensitive stomachs, maybe go to your local pet store and buy a few cans to test it out before buying 24 cans.

Good Ingredients
Normally I stay well away from Purina foods but with 8 cats and their normal wet food currently 3x the price for whatever reason, I decided to try out the Muse foods as the ingredients are OK for being from a major pet food company. 6 out of 8 cats ate it, which is good (although all 8 eat every flavor of their regular food) but it doesn't look like "real" food i.e. it's your standard brown lump of pate. But for the price I would buy it again if necessary, and it does have a wide enough variety of flavors and all have decent ingredients for most cats.

fuzzy cat, smelly food,
Well, when I bought one can at the store my cat ate all of it. Then I bought a box of the same cat food and my cat did not like it. I have no idea what happened. It smelled awfully fishy. Can't tell if the fish was bad when packed. Anyway, I gave it away to my neighbor's cat who ate it all without any problem. Not interested in buying again.

Only if you are brave enough!
I needed food for my super pick boys that didn't have any grain products. I found out they don't like turkey and anything but chicken is iffy to say the least. That was my last experience with this style of cat food purchase. I spent a week cleaning up cat puke so I went back to just buying the chicken pate. I am a slave to the boys! LOL

Only canned food that our cat eats.
Our cat is very picky and Muse is the only can food that our cat will consistently eat. The size of the cans are perfect portions. The price isn't bad for grain free, gluten free, etc. Purina often sticks coupons on the cans for us to get money off of future purchases. Not much more can be said. The description on amazon lists ingredients and other things. Unfortunately with cat food, it is always a try and see. All I can say is that our cat loves it.
