NOW Foods Supplements, Brewer's Yeast Powder with naturally occurring Protein and B-Vitamins, 1-Pound

I used this for baking goods to increase milk supply. Not sure if it worked but I don’t think much does for my purpose nor do I know what other people use it for. You do not taste it in baked goods even if you add a lot. I’ve made oatmeal cookies, regular oatmeal, chocolate chip cookies, brownies etc and don’t taste it neither does my family as they have eaten it on accident aswell even though they were afraid to eat it assuming it would alter taste so I’d say it is really tasteless and I’m not just being biased because I want I to work. Also for the price this is a great size tub of brewers yeast. The smell doesn’t bother me and I think it is a high quality product and the wide mouth jar is easier to use and not messy compared to bagged brewers yeast.

It was delivered in a sealed packaging and had no spills in transit. It is a pretty strong yeast taste but I feel that is to be expected. The texture was really smooth and fine so it resolved great in drinks and was awesome for baking. I used a teaspoon in my oatmeal everything morning to increase my milk supply.

for the price this is an excellent addition to my morning blueberry smoothies. The two cartons will go a very long way..

If you can stomach the beer taste, it's not bad. I used to drink a lot so it doesn't bother me as much... but it's tarty as heck.I woupd recommend mixing it in with a cereal, as water/milk (as suggested by manufacturers) plain, is awful.The benefits healthwise... I do feel better after about a week of drinking this horse piss, but you cannot deny the effects. I don't feel superhuman or anything, let's be realistic, but if you feel like a donkeys rear dragged down a road for 2 miles... every day... you will gain from this.Now I just feel dragged for about .5 miles instead of 2 miles. Lol.But yes, it works, just give it a solid week. You can also pinch your nose and chug it if it's THAT bad for ya.Smells fairly decent, but tastse very strange, very hoppy!Good luck folks!

I buy this as a supplement for my cats. It contains B vitamins and minerals. And they love the taste.

I know this item is a byproduct of the beer and brewing production. However, I’ve bought other brands in the past that didn’t taste at all like beer. I hate beer. The other items had a more cheesy aroma that I loved. Perfect for popcorn. know this one has bitterness reduced but to me, the flavor itself was impacted negatively. FYI for anybody who also disliked beer. It’s all the grossness of beer without the fun bit. There are other brands that claim to be flavorless and really are. That being said, I LOVE Now foods. It’s my most favorite brand of health food products. Now that they have EBT eligible items, they are a God send for this poor solo mom. This is the first item of theirs I don’t actually love. I can see this flavor being perfect for folks who love beer though. Perfect for a non alcoholic beer/drink (mock micheladas anyone?)

I really like this brewers yeast. It goes well with fruit juice like orange juice. Has vitamins.
