Surprisingly, this is amazing! Bought this a year ago for my daughter and it has taught her so much! She does braids and curls and plays with it all the time. She is better with hair now than most girls her age because of this head. And she still uses it a year later. The hair feels real and has no weird smell and she can wash out looks easily and it dries. Nothing bad to say about it.

Quality human hair would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to practice

I bought this mannequin head for my daughter to use in her school elective, and it has been absolutely perfect for practicing different techniques. The hair feels realistic and has held up well to constant brushing, sectioning, washing, blow-drying, and styling. She’s been able to practice everything from curling to updos, and it gives her the hands-on experience she needs without the stress of working on a real person just yet. The clamp is sturdy enough to keep the head in place on a table, and the length of the hair is great for learning both short and long styles. My daughter’s confidence has really grown since using this, and it’s been amazing to watch her skills improve each week. If you have a student in cosmetology or even just someone who loves experimenting with hairstyles, this mannequin is a fantastic investment. It’s already proving to be an essential tool for her training.

I ordered 22”, but the one I received is barely 18 inches long. Initially I thought they sent the wrong item, so I ordered a replacement. The new one came exactly as the same as the first one. I wonder how on earth did they measure that as 22”? The other big issue I have with this one is the layers are too high. There volume is ok at the upper head, but gets a lot thinner towards the ends. When you do a ponytail you get very little hair, which makes it difficult to style. This is the 5th hair dummy I own, I have to say the quality of hair is very nice, the touch is quite similar to real hair. But the length is a big issue. Hope they can solve that problem.

Definitely not human hair, pulled her out of the bag and she had such a chemical residue on the “hair”, was supposed to be blonde and is ginger. Also was supposed to be long hair this is medium length, very disappointing

My daughter is in Beauty School. She needs these for class and practice. I ordered a few already. Sturdy, long REAL human hair, they work great. They come in many different colored hair, which is great. The hair texture is real hair, good quality. Theyre easy to use. She loves them. For anyone who has kids or people in Cosmetology school, these are awesome! Great value for the money.
