More grapefruit than berry
I had tried the Blackberry and Kola Nut variety of these drops, and LOVED them, so I decided to try out the Berry flavor. First of all, the flavor is not berry except on the tail end. There is a LOT of grapefruit flavor, and while there isn't an actual salt taste to it, whatever the additional flavor is reminds me of the way your mouth feels when you're eating salty movie theater popcorn. It might be the Zinc...it does remind me a bit of the way that the Zycam chews tasted back in the day. When you take a drink it's grapefruit and weird not-quite salty flavor, then a whisper of vaguely berry, and then back to a very citrus but more bitter aftertaste in your mouth. If you like grapefruit, you'll probably love this, but it's not for me. Since I can't return them, they'll go on the table in the break room. Maybe somebody else will like them.
