These steel reinforcement bars are seriously strong. They fit perfectly and were super simple to install. I appreciate that it came with a couple extra screws! For the price, YOU GET 2 times better the quality! HUGE PLUS.

Nuts and bolts and pin not in package.

Although I had some minor problems installing this, I am putting all blame for that on my unique situation.The elongated holes at the top were not big enough to fit over a couple of bolts that I am saying were permanent. (You can see the bolts in one of my pictures) I also have a piece of electrical conduit acting as a stiffener at the very top of my door, so that limited where I could put this reinforcement bracket. Both of these minor setbacks are caused by my unique situation, not a downfall of this unit.So I had to drill a few holes in the metal, enlarge a couple of holes and still use the old lift bracket in conjunction with this unit, but it was all worthwhile to get something better than what I had before.Good product at a good price.

The brackets were in the package but the bolts and pin were missing. So was disappointed in the situation.

I ordered this for a 10 ft tall X 18 ft wide garage door. The material is solid and with multiple holes and the ability to extend, it is adjustable to work with just about any size garage door. This comes with all the necessary hardware. I’m glad that it is galvanized steel — rust will not be a problem. This bracket is as good as any I could buy at a building supply store.

This bracket is a perfect fit on nearly any garage door panel, and it provide an extra strong – and frankly aesthetically more attractive – connection point for your automatic garage door opener. It’s vastly superior to the old method of cutting, notching, and shaping a piece of slotted angle.The brackets do show signs of rubbing against the galvanized coating where the forming press bent them, but it isn’t actually gouged or scratched. If you want it looking perfect, I suppose a light coat of metallic paint could be applied, but I consider that it’s for… well, a garage door.

Adjustable, fits any including not standard top panel vertical measurements (foreign made garage door panels and hardware)our garage door panels (non standard,made of shore) are not the usual standard size and uses not the standard hardware that most of the garage door reinforcements are made for.Have used a long of time & effort & tried many different different metal reinforcement without any real success. Then saw this online and thought, give it a try. it was perfect as it was *very adjustable* and easily adapted to the different odd vertical height of the 1st panel. Wish I found this item 1st, would have saved a lot of time and frustration..Highly recommended item.

Important to note that the steel screws to attach the bracket to the door are not included, as well, there are no instructions. But, still super simple to install and can easily be adjusted. I had the steel screws on hand so that wasn’t an issue here, but I would have been annoyed if I didn’t 😬
