Some of black lettering was missing
Some of the black lettering was missing. I used a sharpie to fill it in but not a great fix. If you plan on gifting, open it and inspect it.

I decorated mine and it looks fabulous
The stone is gorgeous! It's heavy and has a slot on the back for hanging. I am a ceramic artist so I painted my daughter's name on it and painted the butterfly a bit and painted across the fluer de lis and I love how it turned out. Put a bit of sealer on it and it's ready to hang up.

Beautiful gift for someone who's lost a loved one
I purchased this as a gift for my stepmother after my dad passed away. It was the perfect gift and the saying made both of us tear up. I purchased it thinking that she would use it in her garden but she actually ended up displaying on her bookshelf and it looks beautiful there as well. I highly recommend this as a gift for someone who has lost a loved one.

Having to fix before gifting
I'm disappointed that I gave to repaint since of the words before I gift this to my friend. There's also a chip on the bottom right and it's not sure to the packaging so it must've been since before sent to me. It's more yellow than in the picture too. Not sure if it's waterproof or not.

Rememberance
What do you do if you scatter the ashes of your loved one far from your home and you still want a remembrance of your own? Well, I took a small baby food jar of ashes, buried them in my flower bed and this beautiful plaque rests over the top so I always have a symbol of our 33 years together. And if I ever move, I can just remove the plaque, dig up the jar and take it with me.
