This has been fantastic in front of woodstove. Embers have fallen on it with no damage to the rug.

initially I thought it was pretty thin and it did squirm around on the carpet so I sewed it in place. now it works well in keeping the flying embers from burning my nylon carpet, which is what I bought it for. so far, it's been surprisingly tough and easy to sweep clean. Glad I bought it.

I purchased 2 for our church, to put under the candles that are on carts , that people light. The old rugs were getting old. These were perfect for what was needed.

From the photos that were shown on Amazon,this looked to be well made and thick. What I received was almost paper thin,folded in to a tiny rectangle, and won't lay flat. It is way over priced,for the product recieved and the ad for this product is very deceptive. I truly hope that when an ember from my fireplace hit this " fireproof" mat that it does what it says it does and my new flooring isn't damaged .Total thumbs down .

It works great had sparks pop out in the rug and we were able to quickly lift it off the rug. It is worth the money we spent. Would defibitely buy again.
