I have a 1981 CJ-5 and these mirrors fit, even though they said they wouldn’t. I had to slightly trim the bottom of the A Pillar rain gutters, but that was easy to do. So installation wasn’t that difficult, especially with the included hardware which included two different size Allen bolts. I haven’t driven with them yet, but they seem strong and hopefully they won’t move. The mirrors are much better looking than stock and appear stronger. The convex shape of the mirrors gives a wider field of view over stock. Plus they were a great price!

These JL side mirrors are outstanding—far better than most of the other aftermarket options out there. They’re solidly built, and the mirror glass is real, not plastic like some reviews have inaccurately stated. They feel premium, and most importantly, they don’t shake at speed, which was a major concern for me with other designs. Installation was quick and easy, and I really appreciate the permanently mounted brackets that make taking the mirrors on and off a breeze. Once installed, they feel like a natural extension of the Jeep—not like some cheap add-on. The field of view is wide and highly adjustable, giving great visibility and making them genuinely functional. Honestly, these mirrors make my JLU look and feel finished when the doors are off. The design is clean and far superior to the hinge based alternative styles I see most often. The shake-free performance and solid construction were the main reasons I chose to spend a bit more, and I’m glad I did. Only downsides: they’re a bit bulky to store when not in use, and the glass—while clear—feels thinner than I’d like. I wish it were tempered or just slightly thicker to ease concerns about breakage in storage. Overall, though, these are a must-have if you want reliable, high-quality mirrors that stay put and look great. Highly recommended.

They look great and install easily, would buy again. However, I had to grind off material on the bottom in order to remove and replace my doors (03 TJ). Otherwise I had to remove the bottom screw and rotate the mirrors. Recommend.

We added these mirrors to our Jeep Mojave, and they’re fantastic! They’re a must-have for safety, giving a clear, wide view, and they look great too. Easy to install and very well made—highly recommend!

Good replacement if you intend to take your doors off in the summer or live in an area with a higher deer population than people in nyc. I personally wired the turn signal switch leg to the drls so the orange lights are always on when the low beams are on. Both mirrors went of easy (even when i striped the factory bolt ((thanks Crystler for the locktight))) and they look amazing.

These Jeep JL doors off mirrors are legit. I’ve installed just about every type of Jeep accessory in the last 30 years and I can tell you that the design of these mirrors is NICE! Installation was quick and simple. Brackets stay on the Jeep if you like. All hardware included including tool. The only thing you need is a 10mm socket to take out the factory bolt. These mirrors look awesome too. Seem quality built. Highly satisfied! Installed on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL.

To start, I love the look of these. They shake a little at higher speeds, but it doesn’t interfere with my ability to see. What does keep me from seeing is when they completely fold in from wind pressure. I tightened these as much as possible and they held up on the highway at 70mph. Anything over that and they’re folding in. My main concern- I have to tighten them so much I’m afraid I’m going to strip the screws. I can completely see this happening over time, especially when you take them on and off repeatedly. I think the design could be better, like something with a quick release instead of having to use nuts and washers. It’s one more set of tools I have to keep up with. Install was easy. Looks good. But not as functional as I had hoped. Lastly, the mirror itself isn’t high quality. I can see these getting scratched or damaged easily with regular use. The frame of the mirror is high quality and the flag design is awesome. I want to like these but think I may opt for a different design.

Mirrors work like they should. I removed the flag part as the color doesn’t match the purple accents I have on my jeep and I’m not American and have Canadian flags on my jeep.

Really good mirrors. Firm, well mounted, and look great. Easy to install.
